The hotel smelt so bad everywhere we went like nasty old food. Also the people staying at the hotel next to this one were not very safe looking people.Then our room had no TV remote and the front desk just said sorry nothing we can do about it you will have to wait until morning which was when we were checking out.

This is a very well maintained property. Front desk and housekeeping always courteous, friendly and professional. Breakfast is great. Property clean. There were a few blemishes in my last room (I've stayed here several times) and the room phone was malfunctioning but they seem to be renovating and I suppose people break stuff or don't respect the property all the time at hotels. They are doing some renovations but you can hardly hotice that work is being done. Id say for the money this is hands down the best of the affordable hotels in the area that I've stayed at.

Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly when we checked in, hotel was semi-clean, room was nice with comfy beds and a big shower. Pillows and towels were small. Breakfast was ok-not a lot of variety of foods. Area is safe.

Was an okay stay. Stains on the carpet and bedspread, but wasnt dirty. Light fixtures badly need updated, as they were all flickery and old. Bed was comfortable but those small awful pillows were lumpy. Pretty quiet and was not bothered! The crack in the door was a good 2 or 3mm however... could see the light from the hallway all night.

It looks like it was already a pretty good property before renovations began, and it's not entirely clear to me what upgrades they're aiming for. There were a whole lot of "out of order" signs and "pardon our dust; we're renovating", but no clear evidence of work going on. We didn't book this hotel for the pool, but it would have been good to list it on Expedia as not having a pool in working order, rather than saying that a pool is one of its amenities only to find out after check-in that it's closed for maintenance. Same goes for the elevator, especially as we were assigned a room on the second floor and had a lot of luggage to haul. It's deceptive to advertise a feature that you don't actually have at the moment. To be fair, I did get a flurry of texts and emails from the property immediately after I booked, presumably to warn me about some of the out-of-order features so I could cancel and rebook elsewhere if I wanted to. But a) that's a hassle that is better avoided by informing customers BEFORE they book, and b) none of the links in the texts or emails worked, so I don't actually know what they said. Apart from that, however, we had a pretty good experience: the room was clean, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was good, etc.

Cynthia is amazing!!
Being able to hear but not speak, sometimes i run into businesses who are not overly eager to help me. This was not the case with Cynthia who was working the front desk when i arrived. Cynthia went out of her way to communicate with me and make my stay and comfort a priority. I had a small issue with the window in my room, and she fixed it immediately. She went out her way to accommodate my disability. She is a true treasure and you should be proud to have her as an employee.

The room was supposed to be smoke free but it smelled faintly of smoke. Not enough for me to go through the effort of going and complaining though because I was just too exhausted to deal with it at the time. I was pretty annoyed though.

My review is nit picky. The place is really good
Desk clerk pretty quiet at check in. No briefing about breakfast hours or where pool, workout room, or elevators are. Might have just been an off day. People have those. No worries Room stuffy and not smelling great walking in. Ozium took care of that. Might just be me and my nose Carpet had a couple of pulls/runs in them. Some attention from scissors will knock them down quickly and make the place look better. Comfy bed and pillows. Love the fiberglass space pod shower. REALLY cool. I can see space kids geeking out. I did Good breakfast. Clean place. Nice attendant. I chose this place over my preferred hotel just a few blocks away and did not regret it. You can see the review was nit-picky. That’s A GOOD THING In reviews.

It was ok
When i arrived i got yelled at from a 3rd story windau and asked jf i wanted to bu drugs . Going inside the counter person was really friendly but had 2 calls and myself he could have used a lil help. The room had a big white stain in front of the fridge like batter acid...it was so weird. Also the whole floor had kids running up and down screaming playing chase. The bed was really comfortable tho and the shoer was nice and hot.

Bad experience
Only one woman on duty to service checkins, etc. Took about a half hour to check in, then when we needed a blanket, we had to get dressed and come down to the lobby ourselves. Room overlooked I-25, which was quite noisy throughout the night. Sheets were old and torn, as well as soiled.
