There are different paths with varying difficulties.The gorgeous red rock formations jut out all around you, making for an enchanting hike. A seven dollar entrance fee for the day, and no dogs allowed. Well worth the very short drive up from Denver. The stark contrast of the red rocks and the white snow makes for a colorful hike.

Very clean and cute. Wasn’t aware that the host stayed upstairs the whole time but wasn’t ever a problem, you could only hear them occasionally walking around in the morning.

Perfect place to stay for a wedding at the Roxborough Golf Course and hiking at the state park. Safe neighborhood and quiet area.The only things missing at the time of our stay- need more hooks to hang things in the bathroom, a sturdier coffee table, and more furniture in the bedroom to put suitcases/clothes on, plus another side table.Otherwise, we would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a fantastic time at this property the area was very clean the bed was beautiful everything that she said was there was in fact there. The only hiccups we had were learning how to work the floor warmer in the bathroom which is Amazing by the way and the people living above the rental have they're just up all the time and you can hear a lot so if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring some earplugs. Overall this was an amazing stay I would absolutely go back cuz I personally am not a light sleeper and neither is my spouse it fit all of our needs it was close to state parks it's in a beautiful area there's a grocery store around the corner if you want it it's available we showed up for a wedding and booked this area to stay in and I have absolutely no regrets.

Close to Family

Nice clean property, comfortable bed, huge shower, quiet. One thing we did not know (maybe we didn't see it in the description of the property) is that there is no a/c. For those that like it colder than 74 degrees, this is not the place for you. They did provide two fans and we were fine, though freaked out at first. Owner was responsive to a problem we had with tv and fixed it right away.

Repeat stay

Second visit to area and to this VRBO. Just a great as first time. Small apartment with just essentials but clean, quiet with discreet private entrance and easy parking. Perfect for exploring area and having a nice shower and comfortable bed to return home to. Thank you!

Very nice hosts

This place is very cute and nestled in a quieter area outside of Denver and Boulder. The hosts were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good. The bathroom was also very well stocked and lots of linen in case you need to set up the sofa bed.

Nice place to refresh.

Clean quiet place with plenty of space for my husband and myself to refresh between outings. We loved hiking at Roxborough Park, and took in a couple of concerts @ Red Rocks. This was a great choice for us, and we will likely stay again.

Our vacation hub

We stayed 7 nights at this quiet, cozy, clean, and very well appointed little apartment. We had a very easy check in even though it was very late as our flight was delayed coming in to Denver. The code worked as the instructions said, and we walked in to everything we needed. We never saw our host, but he was always there if we needed him, and was quick to answer a question for us. The bed was comfortable, the towels were nice, (and there were plenty available) and the shower was fantastic, with plenty of hot water. The neighborhood was quiet and felt comfortable and safe (we came in after 10 most nights and never felt uneasy) with a convenient place to park right at the private path to the apartment. One of our excursions was to a hot springs where I had a horrible reaction to the sulphur in my eyes. The next morning I was able to drive just down the road to an urgent care and got amazing care with no waiting. I was back to enjoying our vacation in under 2 hours. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's, and this is one is top notch for a touch point for sleeping, showering, and having a little snack before taking off again! Overall, it was a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place!

Littleton stay

The VRBO was just right. Everything we needed was supplied. The kitchenette was perfect. We had coffee and breakfast at the property each morning. The nearby Safeway supplied us with our breakfast items. And the shower was very nice, too. Check in and out was easy. We will stay here again if we have the chance.

Perfect getaway!

This basement apartment was clean, simple yet elegant, and had everything that would be deemed a necessity plus some. I would highly recommend this for a weekend stay. It reminded me of a European stay we had many years ago.

Great basement apartment

I stayed here for 2 weeks while in Denver on business. The apartment is well appointed with everything you might need. The kitchen has a small fridge and a microwave, and all the dishes you would need. There is no stove. The living room is comfortable and the couch pulls out to make a queen size bed. The bathroom is very nice with a large walk in shower. All toiletries, towels and linens are provided as expected. The house is close to everything you need. Thanks for the great stay!

Escape to Roxborough
