The staff were great and really tried to be helpful. Expedia had the right room booked but the room isn’t a guarantee and it isn’t what we reserved. The staff were great about making it happen. Expedia could be better.

The air conditioner did not work for the entire stay nor the room phone. The room phone was explained as being due to recent renovations. I had tried to call down through my phone several times and was transferred to the main menu or they could not hear me and never got transferred to the front desk. I ended up having to walk down each time. Apparently they were working on the AC unit and each time I passed the front desk, they had no updates. The final night the front desk attendant had no knowledge about the issue and tried to reiterate that a technician just needed to come adjust the thermostat and that they ran on central air but she did not know about any issues with the AC. I told her that apparently it was not working and she said she would look into it and send a technician up to change the room temperature if it was fixed. No one changed the room temperature throughout the stay, fixed the air conditioner, or gave me any updates. I asked for a fan but they said they were all out. I was never offered a room change or given any updates other than when I asked and they always stated it was being worked on or they did not know there was an issue. I did not sleep well for the entire stay as I was sweating and restless.

No temperature control in room so you are stuck with the temperature they decide no fan and very limited air coming out of one little vent The TV is not watchable from the bed Desk is perfect though IF you are an NBA Center Break fast was good though and the room was large .. This was a remodel of the old Brown Palace Tower.. which failed

There is a nice safe reasonably priced parking garage less than a block down the street from the main entrance. The staff will not tell you this because they are pushing they're Valet parking which is not on site and expensive.

I was there on a snowy day and the floors in my room were sopping wet and smelled mildewy. The bedding they gave us for the pull out was just a set of sheets. The valet parking sign said “full” although it wasn’t.

Overall, it’s pretty good. Their price is much cheaper than surrounding hotels. People are nice, crib for kids are free. Every day, the room is cleaned. I recommend it.

The hotel was great overall! It had the perfect location, within walking distance to everything, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice overall too. However, during the check-out on Sunday, April 28th at 5 am, the overnight GSA was very unpleasant. She didn't make eye contact nor say "Good morning" or "How was your stay?". She just said that we were all set. While waiting for our Uber, a gentleman was departing as well and he had some challenges opening the door to exit, so I mentioned it to her since she didn't have a clear view of the door from where the front desk is located. She continued to type on the computer station and after waiting for a few seconds she asked me if he had figured it out. I told her no, to which she whispered "That's unfortunate". This was our last impression of the hotel. Anyway, there are a couple of things that I would like to bring to your attention regarding our room 1873: one ceiling light over the headboard was out, the lampshade needs to be replaced (it couldn't stay straight), and the bathroom ceiling paint was starting to peel off. None of which was a big deal for us, but you may want to address it before your next guest. Lastly, when emailing your guests, create a template for the team instead of sending a blank email with an attachment it would give a better impression. We love IHG so we hope you find this constructive.

Our hotel did not have any hot water, we called the front desk and there was a whole process that included turning the tap on for 2 minutes then flushing the toilet and holding it down for 15 seconds just to maybe get warm water which was kind of ridiculous. We complained and got a new room but I’ve never heard anything like this before.

Valet staff are wonderful and accommodating. Hotel staff are pleasant as well and know the quirks or this old building. We had no hot water to our room but the staff tried to repair the issue and ultimately the key to getting hot water was to turn the shower on, the sink on, and flush the toilet repeatedly until hot water got to our room. Didn’t last an entire shower length so ended up showering in cold water. Offered a different room but were afraid of different issues as I was only hearing complaints from many guests. Never offered an upgrade. Would not stay here again and should have probably moved to another hotel but the staff we very nice.

They cancelled my reservation saying my card did not work. Used the same card my whole trip. Gave me some story how it was different staying in a downtown property when it was busy. Talked to me like i was not good enough to stay in a property like theirs. Totally dishusted wirh it! They called and left a message to call wirhin the hour to talk to them. I was teaveling an unable to. She didnt even care. Very rude!!!

Good value for your money. Only bad thing is Hotel Management. There was no water for a day and I was asked to go buy water at the market around the block. Also management was not friendly, I was a bit late for checkout and got charged for an extra night because the lady said the cleaning staff was already out and that I should know I cannot be late, not very customer obsessed.

The rooms were very small. Beds were very small. Beds were hard. Sheets and pillows were dirty. The rooms were poorly stocked with supplies like tissues. The room had minimal lighting very dark. The walls were torn up. The water was scolding hot. No one spoke English
