Châteaux à Delmar

« We like the historic hotel vibe and its downtown location. An anchor like the Decker is vital for Main Street revitalization. We wished that the bar had been open on a Thursday evening, but the manager said the owner is working on leasing that operation. A lamp on both sides of the comfy bed would be most welcome. »

« We were greeted with friendly and very helpful staff from the minute we walked in the doors. He even helped us with our luggage, and phoned us after we left to be sure we had a pleasant stay at his hotel - Budget Inn in DeWitt Iowa. We would recommend staying at this place, and we will stay here again in the future. »

« Great house, very clean and lots of little amenities for the guests. We like to cook a lot of our meals, even when we stay places, and this house had everything we needed. »

« Seul inconvénient est sa situation par rapport aux restaurants. Le reste était fort bien. »

« Great easy spot with good space for a family. A bit farther from the main downtown but easily walkable. »

« Seulement une étape. Nous ne sommes pas restes. »

« Decent rate and adequate lodging. I'd stay there again except Clinton Iowa has a BO problem. »

« Parfait pour une escale »

« Everything was perfect when I arrived. The beach was not as pictured »

« Pretty calm and beautiful place »

« We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either. »

« Sad to say it was run down and in bad shape. Window broken, just taped.Holes in the wall.Crack in the bottom of the bathtub, didn't even want to take a bath or shower, also dirty. Carpet stained and there as a musty smell. The only time you got staff you had to dial 0 on the desk phone. »
