The property has recently been renovated but the workmanship is poor. The room doors don't close properly, wall tiles are misaligned, over paint on trim and floor tiles in bathroom are uneven and cracked. Cleanliness in the bathroom also needs work. On the plus side, staff was friendly and the rooms were cheap.

Like: location, bed was comfortable, nice mini fridge in room Dislike: breakfast was VERY sparse. Ran out of coffee (8am on a Sunday and hardly anyone was in the eating area) and had no plan to replenish it. Wondering if they were just saving cost. Property was going through a paint job so there was extra dirt etc on the aged carpets. Not enough parking.

It was fairly clean and quiet. The facility needed some updates. The carpet was worn, the elevator made me nervous (klanky noises). The bathroom door had a hole in it. The whole facility looked a bit run down. The staff did not smile when I got to the front desk both times, but they took care of me.

If you are looking for a basic hotel for the night in the downtown area this is a good option. However, the hotel is dated. No issues and was fine for a one night stay.

Staff named Rene (male) was very nice and friendly! Easy to talk to and very reasonable when I asked him that I need to check out early due to emergency. He accepted with ease and gave me a refund. Much appreciated!

Meh hotel, great location
Our stay was "meh". The hotel was ok. Not the worst we've ever been in, but not the best either. Can definitely tell it's been renovated not too long ago. Parking was a pain, but that's not the hotels fault. The location was great though! Right in the middle of the quaint downtown.

The smoky hotel
Very Strong smell of cigarette smoke that stays on your clothes, dirty windows in the lobby, place has seen better days, Thought, Staff tries it best to maintain a clean lobby. Staff is very nice and friendly.

It’s was alright 7/10
The room was clean, but the sink ran yellow/ brown at first and the shower kept leaking. It wasn’t terrible but it for sure could have been better.

Nothing really wring with this hotel.... but there is no reason to stay there. For the price and condition i will be driving down the road to the next hotel.

The beds were small, no queens available. The entire building needs upgrading, old carpet and drapes. The sink in the bathroom was leaking and no effort to fix the issue was made. Phone in the room did not work. Shower was old and either peeling or just full of grime. Hot water took 20 minutes to come out every time. Overall, very unpleasant.

My husband and I stayed her one night. Thankfully it was only one night. The first room see were put in had an extremely bad smell and the bathroom smelled like smoldering ashes and the toilet seat was broken. My husband spoke to the guy at the front desk he put us in a new room. Second room smelled better, AC did not work, outlets did not work, bathroom shelves and floor were dusty. Elevator seemed very unsafe, like it had not been maintained in a very long time. Will not stay here again. You get what you pay for.

AC did not work, bathroom sink leaked and flooded bathroom floor, bathroom walls pealing, shower surround rusted & dirty, will never stay at Baymont ever again. Not one aspect of our stay was enjoyable!

I DID NOT APPRECIATE THE ELEVATOR BEING OUT OF SERVICE What hotel has only ONE elevator. The room had a old smell and i TRULY DID NOT LIKE THE OLD RUSTED SHOWER HEAD AND RUSTED SHOWER BASE. There SHOULD have been a service company to IMMEDIATELY repair the elevator being theirs only 1 on site. My husband had a bad knee and I've had a knee replacement and to make us go up and down the stairs is CRUEL. I should have been offered our money back and go to another hotel but that doesnt seem to be an option, which is QUITE SAD.

The bathroom was a real challenge to maneuver in. The bed was uncomfortable, and sleeping in it caused my shoulder and neck to pain me the next day.

This was the first time staying at a hotel that was downtown. It seemed like a converted building to being a hotel. I liked the safety of scanning your room key to get the elevator to deliver you to the floor your room was on. The bed felt comfortable, I did not look for the a/c but I should have it felt humid. The bathroom had an odd layout but it worked fine. Two old broads arrived late last night and were practically shouting outside our door. The noise was a factor the whole weekend. I know breakfast is free but really? They purchased six glazer donuts, I did not see another pack. No plates for the waffles. One breakfast sandwich to be had for almost ten people trying to grab a bite to eat. Not well maintained.

Not bad accommodation. The breakfast was not stocked. Two spoiled bananas. Three muffins. The display was empty. This was at 8am.

I went to get into bed after a long day of travel and found socks in the bed from previous guest. They did not change the sheets,they just remade a bed someone else slept in. Due to exhaustion I just slept on top of bed. We checked out the next day
