On March 26, upon my arrival, I found that my key card for room R802 was not working. Despite visiting the lobby multiple times to get a new key card, the issue persisted. It took 15 minutes for someone to finally open the door for me, and throughout this ordeal, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience from the front desk staff. As a seasoned traveler who frequently stays at various hotels, I must say that this experience did not meet the level of service I would expect from a 4-star hotel. Furthermore, on March 28 around 6:20am, I discovered a cockroach crawling on the wall in my room. This raises concerns about the sanitary conditions of the room, especially considering the reputation of your hotel as a 4-star establishment. When I reported this to the front desk staff, I was surprised by the lack of empathy or proactive response. The staff simply took a picture and did not offer any apology or assurance that the issue would be addressed.

My favorite hotel in Davao and will stay here again. Their spa is awesome, I love the steam room. They’ll let you use it for 20 mins first before you’ll get your amazing massage. Forgot the name of the therapist but she’s awesome! Their suite is spacious, bed is comfortable. Everything about this hotel is just great and will bring my family again to Dusit Thani

Booked a 2 night stay from 24 Dec.Arrived at the hotel around 3am after celebrating Christmas Eve dinner with the family. When we arrived, the security personnel told us to place our luggage onto the trolley expecting that someone will bring our luggage to our room. However we were told to push the trolley ourselves because there was no bellboy around to help. On the first night, when taking a shower, I saw 2 cockroaches on the sink. Since they were pretty small and it was quite late, I had to kill them myself and throw them out. On the second night, we decided to extend our stay. I specifically asked the receptionist if we were going to stay in the same room as it is a hassle moving our things. She confirmed that we can stay in the same room but we need to pay a bit extra for this. We agreed but within few minutes of being in the room we received a call from the same receptionist saying that the room will no longer be available because the owner of the unit wants to stay the night. So in the end we were moved to another room for our 3rd night stay.Upon brief inspection, we noticed that the phone was not working. We reported it at the reception before noon on our way out.Got back around 10pm, phone was still not fixed. We decided to dismiss it since we didn’t really need the phone. Decided to have a bath, but the tub was leaking.Nearly slipped because the bath rug was already wet from the leak.Then found out the hot water was not working. Disappointing stay!

Only reason I didn’t give the stay excellent status was because there was a light that would not turn off and the coffee table was stained with cup stains. Other then that it was amazing. Staff were all amazing. 2 staff members that stood out to me were during breakfast. Sheri and Princess. They were amazing extremely friendly, informative, and to me ideal employees. Princess was always on top of clearing the table and filling water and Sheri was always right on top of everything seating and coffee. Sheri always seems to have a smile on her face even with a mask on you could tell she was pleased with her job and what she was doing!

The property’s location was great. It offers an unobstructed view of the neighboring Samal Island. It’s also in the outer edges of town, so it was quiet. Cabs were also easy to get. Security was very visible and the perimeter of the property was well fenced. There’s a piano lounge that provides nightly entertainment. The two on-site restaurants offers Thai cuisine and a buffet. The pool was clean and well maintained. The room offers a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, and an espresso machine. The beddings smelled good and the pillows fluffy. There is also a washer/dryer in the room. The staff even provided detergent and walk us through the machine’s operation. Just a couple of improvement feedback; there are numerous unlabeled switches for the lights which confuses you. And after 11:00PM, calls for room service, or even calls to the front desk were answered. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant and comfortable.

Have stayed at Dusit before, that is why I stayed again, a really nice place, I recommend it to anyone looking for clean rooms and great service.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Amenities was complete, I even have a washer/dryer in my suite. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Pastries at the Dusit Gourmet was delicious. Pool looks very inviting. Will surely stay again.

I was really looking forward to a great experience, unfortunately that was not what i received. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly and accommodating, but there were many problems with the room and when i shared these with management, their response was entirely unsatisfactory. The first problem we noticed was the front door lock and security hasp would not close. We couldn't lock the door to the room! The next day, engineering came by and we had to sit there and wait while they banged on the plates as they tried to get things aligned for about an hour. The bathroom has not been stocked or properly cleaned. There were no towels, washcloths, or soap. There was garbage on the floor, uncleanned faucet handles, and non-working vanity lights. The bidet water pressure was so high you could cut a bar of soap! The kitchen in the room was nice, but there were so few items available to cook with, and an equally few ways to clean, if you choose to cook. 1 pan, 1 slotted turner/spatula, 2 plates, bowls, forks, butter knives, a cutting board, and 4 wine glasses. Any other cooking necessities we had to provide. No dish soap, sponges, dish towels, and no automatic dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher. The most offensive part of the kitchen was the 2 times the filter box under the sink overflowed and spilled foul smelling muck all over my feet and the floor. In both instances engineering was dispatched and spent about an hour cleaning up the mess.

Close to everything. Beautiful room, comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and are ready to help when you need something. Beautiful ground with a nice swimming pool. Modern decorations for the mother's day celebration.
