La maison "Da Fuskie Dreams" est un formidable ajout Ă  l'inventaire de la location de maisons de vacances Ă  Daufuskie! Il est difficile de dĂ©crire Ă  quel point cette maison est belle et unique! Il est d'une beautĂ© Ă  couper le souffle ... Ă  commencer par la fabuleuse vĂ©randa avec sa suspension "swing bed" et "swing table!" DĂšs que vous marchez sur le porche, vous saurez que vous ĂȘtes dans une expĂ©rience unique sur l'Ăźle! ****

Nous sommes en avance sur nous-mĂȘmes! Parlons de l'emplacement. ****

Cette belle maison (juste 4 ans!) est situĂ© au coeur du quartier historique de Daufuskie, et est parfait pour les visiteurs qui veulent vraiment dĂ©couvrir la vie de l'Ăźle locale sur notre Ăźle spĂ©ciale. Les visiteurs sont facilement accessibles Ă  pied depuis l'Ă©glise historique de Daufuskie, depuis l'Ă©cole Mary Fields (maintenant notre centre communautaire, comprenant un cafĂ© et l'entreprise Daufuskie Blues) et depuis l'historique Francis Jones House. Beach Road est juste au coin de la rue, et la meilleure plage de l'Ăźle est Ă  5 minutes en voiturette de golf. Oh ... et vous ĂȘtes Ă  2 minutes en charrette du cafĂ© pittoresque et mĂ©morable de Lucy Bell! ****

Cette maison est parfaite pour ceux qui veulent sortir des sentiers battus et apprendre à connaßtre cette ßle unique et originale, y compris ses habitants chaleureux et amicaux. Les visiteurs ont l'opportunité de vivre une vie insulaire qui a presque disparu de la région du Pays Bas. ****

Mais parlons de la maison! Vous aimerez la beauté et le confort de cette maison bien équipée, son cadre serein et sa grande véranda. La maison est impeccablement construite et conçue. La jolie cuisine est entiÚrement équipée et fera de la préparation des repas en famille un jeu d'enfant. Le salon offre une vue imprenable sur les bois environnants et comprend une télévision connectée à écran plat avec ROKU et Netflix gratuits. (Et WIFI est gratuit.) La chambre Mermaid et la chambre Beach sont toutes deux situées à l'étage principal. Chacune dispose d'un lit queen-size, d'une vue sur les bois environnants et d'une salle de bains privative. ****

Le Dreams Loft propose davantage d'options de couchage, notamment un futon queen-size et un lit de jour ... et une demi-salle de bain adjacente fantaisiste. (Les enfants aiment cet espace!) ****

Le Da Fuskie Dreams House est situé dans un cadre boisé privé et serein. Il y a beaucoup d'extras à l'extérieur comme un hamac suspendu entre deux arbres, un foyer, une douche extérieure chaude / froide et un garage pour votre voiturette de golf. (Nous aiderons à mettre en place votre chariot de location avec Tour Daufuskie et il sera livré directement à votre domicile.)

Veuillez noter que vous aurez Ă©galement accĂšs Ă  la piscine Melrose, bien que des frais journaliers s'appliquent.

Le propriétaire de Dreams Hose vit sur l'ßle et est disponible pour aider à la logistique pour se rendre sur l'ßle et pour obtenir des informations sur chaque aspect de Daufuskie.

Wonderful location and lovely place to stay

My family and I vacationed here for a week, and we enjoyed every moment. The home, property, and location were excellent. It was just a short walk to the coffee shop and right next to the road that leads straight to the beach. The Check in and out process was easy, and the communication from the property manager was thorough and friendly. We would love to come back again soon!

Cozy, Clean and Private

This was our second time staying in this cottage. We love the beachy charm and cleanliness. Most of all, we prized the privacy of the location - tucked back off School Road. Sitting around the firepit at night is so relaxing as is taking a nap on the swinging bed on the screened in porch. Management was attentive to our needs and readily available if needed. Can't wait to return!

This was a great getaway for a quiet long weekend. We brought out dogs and enjoyed walking and letting them play on the beach. The screen porch is a perfect place for a nap.

Wonderful Stay at your house on Daufuski Island

We had a wonderful time on Daufuski Island. The house was wonderful. It was very clean and had all of the starting amenities needed. The rental group checking in on us by text the first day and after the first night to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a great vacation. We loved the porch!

Wonderful getaway!

This was my family’s fifth time staying at DaFuskie Dreams, and our 6th visit to DI. The home is the perfect size for our family and a great location, just a short cart ride to the beach. Very private, clean, and maintained. We LOVE relaxing on the porch swing. Host is very responsive and informative. Always a great stay!

Fabulous

The Dreams house was everything we needed and more. The well-stocked kitchen allowed me to cook meals for our family all week. There were books sharing the history of Daufuskie. Nice location, very quick cart ride to the beach. The best part about our stay, though was Deb. She was incredibly helpful when the power went out on our first night and was very responsive to any needs we had all week. 10/10 would recommend this property!

Enjoyable spring break

This property was good, but has the potential to be really, really great. Deb, the property manager, was wonderful. She called us the day before to assist with any last minute travel arrangements. She also met us at the property upon our arrival, and texted us various eating options throughout the week. She was kind and very responsive. The location of the home is great. Very private and lots of outdoor space. My kids and dog enjoy exploring outside. There is a great opportunity to increase overall experience of this home as cleanliness was definitely a factor. The first day, we found a dirty hand towel which Deb immediately apologized and offered us a nominal credit which was appreciated. After that, we found several other cleanliness issues throughout the week. We didn't want to keep bothering Deb, although I'm sure she would have taken care of them. Instead, we did forward her a list of the issues after checkout so they can be fixed for next time. Deb shared that the house is scheduled for a deep clean next week so the next guests will get to enjoy it even more. Once the cleanliness and linen issues are corrected, this property will truly be 5+ stars.

Deb and team were phenomenal as my 2 year old unfortunately got sick day 2. However, Deb and others went above and beyond to assure we got her medicine from Hilton Head over to the island. Wonderful experience and beautiful, peaceful, serene home.

Beautiful home! Relaxing island!

We really enjoyed our stay on Daufuskie! It’s definitely a laid back, relaxing environment. The beaches are really remote! No touristy crowds! The house was absolutely beautiful. Comfortable, clean, adorably decorated. Deb was extremely helpful as well. Ask a lot of questions before you journey to the island
everyone is willing to help. I would highly advise using the private water taxis and packing whatever you want! Bring groceries to cook and enjoy on the deck.

Our first (and hopefully not last) trip to DI

We loved our stay in the little cottage in the woods! It was so cute and cozy! The house was clean and Deb was very kind and helpful. The bed/swing got a lot of use whether for relaxing, reading, or napping! The ride to the beach seemed to get shorter and shorter as our stay went on! The location within walking distance to the coffee shop was so convenient! Our drives around the island on our cart were so much fun and we loved exploring! Our family really wants to return one day for another stay!

40th birthday weekend

The house was perfect. Excellent use of space. The house isn't huge but we had 8 adults, a 9 year old and a baby and there was plenty of space. Three bathrooms were a great help. We spent every night sitting on the giant screened in porch playing games and catching up with each other. My husband said it was his best birthday ever.

Truly relaxing vacation

We felt right at home on the island and in our beach house. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals "at home" and we also enjoyed the couple of restaurants on the island. We went to the beach every day and explored all we could in our golf cart. Our hostess was very attentive and informative. I would highly, highly recommend !

Girls Trip

Our vacation on Daufuski was amazing from start to finish. Arriving at our rental house was so exciting. It is swt back in the woods a little away from the road. It is so charming and special. We enjoyed most of out time on the front porch swing listening to the sound of nature. It was wonderful.

Perfect house!

My family of 5 plus our labradoodle thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. The house was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. We were here for 5 days and did not want to leave. Daufuskie is an amazing place and this house made it that much better. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to many of the attractions that bring you here including the beach.

Beautiful Rental Property

The house and property is absolutely beautiful. I loved the screened porch, and could spend the whole day sitting out there. The owner, Deborah, was very helpful with making sure we had everything set up for our trip that we needed. Definitely would rent this property again!

Great girlfriend trip!

We loved this cute and very clean home. You don't need to bring much, plenty of beach items like umbrella and chairs. Toys for the kids. Well stocked kitchen, but try Lucy Belles, it's ok n the neighborhood. House is bigger than it looks, and we were well taken care of by owner.

Peaceful, safe, friendly, cozy, beautiful home!

It was our best vacation so far with VRBO.COM. the house is nestled among the trees, tons of cozy beds, sofas, seats, and pillows everywhere for relaxing. Cute and uniquely decorated that I found made for a lovely and welcoming stay. We didn't want to leave after staying 6 days and for sure, we will be back!!!

Perfect getaway

Thank you for making this wonderful house available on VRBO. Our family had the opportunity to spend a week here, and the only thing we regret was not staying longer. The house is perfect for small families, and they have truly thought of everything you might need, in the house and in the shed for outdoor fun. We basically lived on the front porch when we were not at the beach just down the road. We definitely hope to be back again soon!

Vacation during COVID

We loved the property - it's exactly how it appears in the photos - even better! If we weren't on the beach or exploring, we spent most of our time on the beautiful porch. There is plenty of seating and the bed/swing was our favorite. Our three boys and dog had plenty of space to run around in the yard, and they loved the outdoor shower! Everyone had a great time.
