Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Come see this beautiful home that has been recently renovated that has a pool and hot tub! Renovated and modern interior with plenty of space for everyone. Every room has a TV with prime and Netflix. The backyard is what makes this place special. Plenty of space has a pool and a hot tub for those cold nights or for just relaxing after a swim. Grill, fire pit, and cornhole also available!

Modern Home stay

Had an amazing time staying at this property. The rooms were spacious as well as the living space. Kids have so much fun in the pool while we grilled. Definitely visiting again.

The house was nice. It could have been cleaner, but to be fair, one of the guests cleans houses, so she was a little critical. It was not stocked well, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 8 people for 5 days didn't work. There was only a few pieces of silver ware, although there was plastic. We would have preferred to wash the silver ware rather than throw away plastic. One last thing, the hot tub wasn't clean so we never used it, the pool was clean so we did swim. The power went out twice (not his fault) and he was very quick to get someone to look at it. The 1st time was a transformer and the 2nd time a storm. I would go back again, I just think it could have had some more attention.

Misleading listing and difficult host

Property: The listing noted having a pool and hot tub, but both were not usable due to cleanliness issues (algae and insect infestations) as well as mechanical issues with the hot tub. There were several safety code issues with the garage as well as dead roaches. House had multiple deadbolt locks but keys were only provided for 1 of the locks on the front door which led to us being locked out by leaving through the garage. Host: No instructions or property information were provided which created many issues. Host was responsive but failed to take accountability for his own negligence in misplacing his master keys requiring a locksmith to be needed and refusing to pay for the service.

Misleading

The images from the listing are a lie. The hot tub had a hole in the side and dirty water. The backyard was overgrown, and the inside, while relatively clean, was not what was shown in the listing. Also the sink in the master bedroom was broken when I arrived, and the gas grill had been used as a charcoal grill and was thus unusable. The homeowner also filed a claim against me through the required home insurance claiming I had caused damage requiring a cleaning. I did not enter the hot tub during my stay because of its condition. I provide photographs below please compare to the images you are shown of the property.

Get away

We were looking forward to being in the pool and or hot tub, the hot tub is run down and wasn’t working at all and if you stepped on the stairs, you would have fallen, the aren’t attached to anything. The floors were dirty you could feel it on your feet if you were barefoot. The counters were not cleaned and there was no dish towels for the kitchen.they left a gross sponge for us to use to clean the dishes. Then the pool guy shows up unannounced when we had dogs.

Abundant space

Not what was expected

Toilet seat broken, no tvs hooked up, no remotes had batteries, yellow jackets living in the cracks in the pool, air fryer handle broken off, could not get the oven to work at all! Manager never got back with us about the oven.

Good Experience

We were pleased with the property. We were 6 adults and 5 children ages 6 to 14. We enjoyed the pool and the space. Nice location in suburban street. We had one or two questions and the owner was very responsive. As other reviewers have said, kitchen supplies are a bit sparse. Also, it could stand to have a curtain on the doorway of the bathroom of the master bedroom.

Needs a little work

We came here with my Dad, sister, husband, and 3 year old. The location was perfect for everything we had on our list to do. The host was very prompt and responsive to our needs. It had great hot water and good toilets. There is some work that needs to be done at the house. The master bed has a big dip in the middle so you just sink into it. The master faucet is so loose that it just lifts right up. Thankfully the master has another sink to use. The room with the bunk beds was hard to sleep in. The air didn’t really circulate too well, and the beds were very hard to sleep on. The small white bunk bed actually had a broken railing to the top ladder with a very sharp piece of metal poking up which was hard to keep my 3 year old from wanting to climb the ladder. There was a coffee maker and the bare essentials for the kitchen, however with 4 adults and a child, there were only 2 coffee cups, and limited silverware. Overall we enjoyed our trip and loved the location is was close to get to Fort Worth and Dallas.

Disappointing Stay and Very Poor Experience/NOT worth the nightly rate.

Contact with the host was delayed, minimal, and unhelpful. The wifi was insufficient for this space and did not work. We were unable to work from the home, or access basic wifi needs multiple times. The house was freezing, and lighting was very poor; the kitchen especially. Kitchen necessities were minimal, very cheap/broken. Basic needs were not provided such as dishwashing detergent, extra paper towels, or extra trash bags. The kitchen sponge was dirty and used upon arrival. I contacted the host regarding location of the extra supplies and his response was “they should be in the garage”. I informed him they were not and never received a response. There was no outdoor garbage bin to dispose of our trash bags. The bathroom shower curtain was covered in red mold; as was the tub. Everything was unclean and dingy. Due to a small cold front, the pipes in an outdoor wall burst and caused the garage/outdoor property to flood. We followed the host’s instructions to leave all faucets dripping so this wouldn’t happen. Thankfully, my partner is a builder, and was able to save this property from further flooding by shutting off the water to the house. With no water, and no estimate on when a plumber would arrive, we were forced to leave. With poor experience already we could not sit in the house and wait for an unknown amount of time for a plumber. The host already proved to be unresponsive and minimal in communication. No refund was issued for the days we could not stay in this home.

Weekend Getaway

Hows was great! Very spacious! Pool and hot tub was a lot of fun for guests. Would recommend better lighting for hot tub but we had fun! Pool deck was well lit. Overall it was a very comfortable stay for 8 guests! Would recommend a handbook with information on stay and what owners would prefer and not prefer for us to do just to ensure we are respecting any boundaries that are unknown.

Comfortable, clean and convenient location!

This place is super clean and comfortable for smaller groups! I would say, it would be difficult for bigger groups to stay here just because there are only two bathrooms. But it was perfect for our group of 6. We stayed here to go to a Cowboys game and it was about 15 minutes from the stadium so super convenient location! The hot tub was clean and super hot when we arrived which was nice in the colder weather! The only issue we found was there was no door present on the master bathroom which was kind of weird. Also, it did take a few days for the owner of the property to respond but he was very friendly and helpful! Overall I’d give it about a 7.5/10!

Terrible experience!

This listing is completely inaccurate. We paid for 12 guests to stay at this location. The listing said it sleeps 12 people with a sleeper sofa/futon. Not only did none of the couches have a pull out bed or converted to a futon, but there was absolutely NO BEDDING. The amenities listed that linens are provided. That was only the first problem. The second problem was that I specifically messaged the property owner prior to booking and asked if the pool/hot tub would be open and useable during our stay. He ensured they both would be running and available, and we chose this location which was 20+min away from our destination solely for the pool and the hot tub.. Within one hour of checking in, the owner was notified. VRBO and the property owner were both contacted on our check in, and every day after that. The owner will not respond to any of my messages regarding the false listing, nor will he issue a refund for the nights of our stay where the amenities from the listing weren’t actually present and available. I even showed pictures of grown adults sleeping on a tiny couch with absolutely no blankets or pillows. Imagine being an adult and paying to stay in a house that claimed to sleep 12 people and then having absolutely no bedding. The owner originally claimed that he would reimburse us for the first nights stay but then continued to block my messages. This entire process has been a terrible experience and I would never suggest that anyone deal with this man and this rental. On top of those 2 major issues- they only had about 8 towels to use (again, it says it can accommodate 12 people with linens and towels provided), there is no door on the bathroom, the lights in the kitchen do not work, the mattresses are extremely uncomfortable, the bunk beds are definitely not meant for adults, the images of the property are completely misleading as they make the house appear to be fresh and modern but when you arrive there is old furniture everywhere that is not even pictured in the listing, and the hot tub is broken. I cannot believe that the VRBO company continues to allow this listing on their website.
