The house was clean and plenty of space, but the listing details were not accurate. Kitchen was not well stocked, it had no knives, scissors, or towels. There was no ice in freezer or water in fridge (advertised to enjoy the water and wine provided). Back sliding door was not able to be locked, remote controls in bedrooms did not work and one room the remote could not be found anywhere. Tile in downstairs master bath was loose inside shower. Beds did not have mattress covers under fitted sheets. Bedrooms needed extra blankets, sheet and blanket provided but each room needed an extra blanket for warmth. There was no speaker for music (as advertised in the listing binder at the house), there were no hair dryers in any bathroom (as advertised in the listing). We enjoyed our stay but would have packed differently if the listing details of the property were more accurate.

Met my grandchildren for the weekend and they had so much fun at this house. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The pool was a hit. It has a diving board, but it is deep on the diving board end. The amenities were great.

The house was generally fine, except for the stairs. We could not use the stairs barefoot. A few of the tack strips are improperly installed and create a puncture risk. The pool was great, and we had a good time. The host was responsive and communicated in a timely fashion. The listing has items that are false, so I’ll start there.The house sleeps 14, but there are not enough seats in the house for 14 people. Nor are there enough plates, silverware, pans to cook for 14 people at once. There are 5 seats outside, 6 seats in the living room, and 5 seats at the kitchen table. There are two broken seats in the garage. There were no K-cups or olive oil, nor detergent for the dishwasher. There was some hand soap, some shampoo and conditioner, but not in every bathroom. There were not enough bath towels nor pool towels for 14. The ping pong table was present, but two of the paddles were broken, and there were no balls.The listing also mentions that the house is “luxury”. The house appeared to be last renovated in 2015, and the renovations were not well maintained. Additionally, there was a mild smell of smoke throughout the house. The smell was worst near the fireplace and the closets, which aggravated my mother’s severe asthma. Nearly every door hinge squeaked to the point it would wake the kids. Several of the windows wouldn’t open/close completely, and there was a problem with mud dobbers coming into the kitchen window that didn’t quite close properly.

We did have some concerns with the cleanliness of the house and pool area. Host was very responsive to our messages and did send a house cleaner and pool cleaner 4 days into our week stay to address issues. Pros: nice quiet location and central to all we wanted to do and see. Host was friendly and responsive to messages. Cons: home needs lots of maintenance and upkeep. Mattresses are all very hard and for us uncomfortable but some may like that. Pool and pool area was very dirty on arrival as well as parts of the house. Kitchen faucet is very loose and moves around when in use. Ladder in pool is broken and unsafe to use.Dining chairs are loose and wobbly. Wasp nests are in the yard around pool area. When we arrived propane was almost empty and we only had enough to grill for one night, was never refilled. Ad lists amenities that we did not have, no hair dryer,spices, olive oil or kcups for coffee. There are tack strips under the carpeting on the stairs that will poke your bare feet. Several of the tv remotes had dead batteries and all but one of the bulbs in the string lights over pool are burnt out. Kitchen is poorly stocked, no toaster, bare bones utensils , cookware and storage containers. This could be a very nice property but definitely needs lots of attention, maintenance and updates to be up to par.

Great location/Central for DFW vacation. Beds were comfy.A new code was needed for access. Instructions on how the lock auto works would be helpfulThe house is very spacious but quirky. Light switches everywhere but confusing and should be labeled. Missing light bulbs in lamps. Garage light randomly comes on.  The furniture is not in great shape (broken chair and stained cushions)  There is an attic area that needs to be secured.We arrived to no towels in the rooms, finally found them in the dryer (mismatched low-end) but they were not clean. Suppose to sleep 14-we barely had enough for 4.  We bought detergent and rewashed the bedding and towels our first night. It was poorly vacuumed finding random items throughout the home.There were no supplies (dish/laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper), no water in the fridge, wine and snacks not provided as promised. The refrigerator/oven had spills that needed to be cleaned.  The kitchen is poorly stocked with low end pans and utensils. We missed having no toaster or hair dryer. Outside area was not clean nor welcoming. Garbage was overflowing. Old pool toys tossed around. Sitting area was covered in debris. Pool lights burnt out. Leaves floating in pool.Manager was responsive to emails but the issues were never fully resolved.  Anticipated supplies daily but never received them and the garbage only made it as far as the curb. The manager did give us a partial refund for our inconvenience. Spacious yes, Luxury it is not.

The property is accurately represented in the photos. Pat was responsive before and during our trip. The dining set up is not great for more than six people at once, between limited tight seating and limited numbers of dishes/silverware. My kids all loved the pool table and really wanted the pool to work out but the water and weather were just too chilly!

Property was nice, although you have to do a bit of searching if you need additional towels etc. Amenities were as advertised, and the neighborhood was quiet. We went in winter, so no comment on the pool. My only nitpick is that the upstairs master was a bit bare. Bed was comfy, one chair is ok, but only 1 sorta-end-table with a lamp with no lights in it by the bedside was a bit disappointing. We had a great time!

Nice property, roomy with adequate parking and location close to Love Field and short 20-minute drive to AT&T. Host was responsive to our questions and issues. Would love to stay again for our next visit. Love to come earlier in the season to take advantage of the pool area. Will definitely be added to my favorites list on the VRBO app.

We needed a place to stay that would allow us to meet and work quietly and privately . Location was great House was perfect for our needs. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms so no sharing. We were able to cook and meet as needed. Great overall.

This was definitely a nice little hidden gem of a vacation rental. Me and some colleagues booked it because we were attending a convention at the convention center, which was 10 minutes away from the house, so though we didn't spend much time at the property, we did sleep, shower, eat, and watch TV there. We didn't get to take advantage of the very nice pool or BBQ area out back, but the house was very spacious and fit everyone who came out for the convention. If you have a large group of people and are looking for a convenient place to stay in the Dallas/Irvin area, this is a great option!

When we arrive the front door was unlocked and the dryer was running with linen in it. We found three large bags of trash inside the attached garage which caused the kitchen and dining room area to stink. I called and texted management several times with no answer nor call back or response to text message. A couple days into our stay management finally responded to a message sent through VRBO app. They told us to take trash to the curb because trash pick up was the next day. There was no trash pick up and no exterior trash can or bin. Several lights did not work. A bed had part of the frame detached and stashed underneath the bed. All toilet flushing handles were unstable and prone to fall off. A couple toilet seats were quite unstable and coming apart. There was no WIFI and password in house handbook. Again it took a few days to receive that information. Many of the exterior stringed light bulbs for the pool were burnt out. The kitchen could use more pots pans and utensils. There wasn’t even a spatula to flip pancakes. The grill does not self light. A long match or long fireplace lighter is needed in place of the lighting mechanism
..or replace the power source for the grill lighter and make it work again. Overall it is a nice house with a number of nice amenities in a nice neighborhood. Communication with house managers/owners is difficult and cumbersome.

The house was nice and spacious and the pool a lot of fun. The owners were nice and reasonable. Only issues are some spiders/spider webs and the AC units were temperamental- it was hot during the day and the upstairs too cold at night. The downstairs was always hot.
