Wonderful stay.
Beautiful scenery and serene environment for a stay. We stayed in the Cygnet suite and the view in the morning was breathtaking. Both my wife and child enjoyed themselves very much. Breakfast was great too. Hope to visit again!

I really enjoyed our stay at the Lochside hotel and spa I would highly recommend it to my friends very friendly and helpful staff and accommodation was fantastic.

Lovely situation. Staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. Any food we chose was very good and well presented. Plenty of variety on the menu. Although not requested we had a room with disability aids. In the bathroom , there was a problem when shower was used....water flowed towards toilet and sink as the drain did not cope. The air con was inefficient but an electric fan was provided. The balcony was a pleasant feature but no partitions between rooms and the general public appeared to be able to wander at will, past the room. Because there was no screen curtain, there was no privacy. Overall, however, we were very happy with our visit and we shall go back but maybe not to the same room !

We were unable to go outside onto our patio as it needed to be repaired. Plywood was placed over and we were told after we inquired the safety that we could not go out on it. Additionally we had tondrain the water in our sink with our fingers as the drain did not work. However the front desk staff and housekeeping werr extremely friendly.

I was at a family wedding, staff was friendly, beautiful modern hotel, very stylish. Me and my partner were in room 1 and it was the noisiest room ever, we couldn't open windows bcos of fan extractor noise.

Stayed in a Superior Room (No.2) which was right beside the entrance door for the rest of the rooms. Advertised as sound proof rooms, constant noise of other guests as they passed the room. Went to the bar for a bottle of wine, given dirty glasses which I had to ask to be changed. Staff were friendly and changed them with no problem. Requested tray service for breakfast which arrived on time but with items missing (fruit juice & eggs!!!) The pillows were the worst I have encountered in a long time. Requested a late check out (12pm) but left before normal check out (11am) as the cleaners started hovering the room next door to me at 10am. Very disappointed.

Nice, but not outstanding
Whilst there were aspects of this hotel that were hinting at 4* accommodation, there were other aspects that were a little lacking. The décor is lovely - very modern with a nice bar area to sit and have a drink pre or post dinner. However, the food itself was a little disappointing given the price. The Thermal Suite (which is only free to guests 7pm-9pm or 7am-9am) had a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi type pool with multiple settings which was fun. Overall, I just didn't feel that the standard of the hotel matched up to other 4*s I have stayed in and was left a little disappointed given the great reviews this had received from others.

I was attending my cousins wedding and the room we had was good. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Check was smooth and never got the chance to use the spa maybe next time.

We stayed over on sunday night after a family wedding .The room was excellent and had a view over the garden which is set out bery nicely for wedding photo opertunities .We had a lovely time on ouf stay and can recomend this hotel as one of the best we have stayed .
