This location is perfect for boaters and outdoor enthusiasts, or those who just want to relax on the deck and enjoy the view. Home is located 500 yards from private community boat ramp available to use and the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is across the street. Also available for use are a 4 seater electric golf cart, two beach cruiser bikes, one single kayak and one tandem kayak. Shell Point Beach is a short golf cart ride away and within walking distance. Enjoy sunset views from the screened in porch or deck. Hosts are easily available to reach.
Nice house with all the amenities you would need. The house is clean and very well maintained. Wrap around deck provides beautiful views of the water, wildlife and sunsets.
House was great overall. Golf Cart was great for getting to the beach. Beach is small and cute and quiet. Neighborhood is quiet as well.
Found multiple things in the home that were broken upon arriving and let the host know. Nothing that was urgent or needed to be fixed immediately. After the trip, the host attempted to charge us for damages that we did not do.
Also, the home lost power multiple times. Donât know if this is normal for the neighborhood or not.
All in all, it was a fabulous trip for our family of 6 until we were accused by the host of damages to the home that we didnât make.
Relaxing, quiet, clean home. So many extras to occupy all ages. Golf cart was a plus to get to the local shell point beach. All the beach equipment on site that we was able to use. Gas grill for dinners.
We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The view was amazing when you sit on the deck with your coffee in the mornings. You feel like you are in a treehouse watching the world go by. Having a golf cart to ride around the community was such fun. If you are looking for a quiet getaway to just sit and relax this is a wonderful place.
After three days of traveling, we arrived at the âBlue Dolphinâ house. This tropical home was the perfect getaway from our snowy state of Michigan, and we couldnât have asked for a better stay for our trip. The small community was very welcoming, and the ocean view was perfect for watching sunsets on clear evenings. We loved taking the kayaks out into the bay to fish and explore, and the golf cart was a definite plus to have around to sightsee the neighborhood and go to the beach. As for the house, we loved using the screened in porch to hang out as a family and eat our meals together. The three bedrooms and pullout couch were perfect for our five person clan. This home was very comfortable and welcoming, we all thank you for allowing us to stay here!
The location was very quite and secluded with little traffic, plenty of walking trails in the area to explore. The beach was a short walk and very nice to catch some rays on a sunny day. It was not that business and had a great food truck available on Sundays when it was nice. The house was very nice and there are no complaints with my stay at this location. I try to hit various places around the U.S. during the winter months but I will consider this location for another stay in the future. Tallahassee has lots to offer and enjoyed that community. They have a great flea market that has tons of variety with decent prices. So if you like that stuff you will enjoy this market. Plenty of seafood restaurants and the St. George Island area has a super large beach with sea shell hunting galore. If you catch the right tide they are very plentiful and very nice sea shells.
Property was very clean and had all of the extras you could ask for! Golf cart, kayaks and even an outdoor shower. Check in was very simple and hosts are responsive. 10/10 would recommend
Only there two nights but it was perfect for our family trying to find accommodations near FSU football game for parents weekend. Golfcart use was added benefit!
Quiet, isolated area. The house is about 15-20 minutes from any restaurants/stores, however, thatâs the best part. All of the neighbors (which were very few) were very nice. It was very peaceful - just standing outside at night hearing nothing but the wildlife and seeing only stars in the sky was amazing. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. I would stay at this location again without question.
Fr the moment I opened the front door and felt the gush if cool AC I knew I was going to be happy there! The perched position in the trees made for terrific sunset viewing. I spent a lot of time out there at night watching for lightening and shooting stars. The neighborhood and adjacent forest were pitch black at night so the stargazing was terrific and the constant sound of the crickets, cicadas and frogs was mesmerizing. We loved cruising in the golf cart - especially in the evening when it seemed the entire community appeared, smiling and waving from their little carts. It was unusually hot when we were there and a bit buggy so we regrettably did not kayak or paddleboard this trip. We stayed 10 nights and were very comfortable. The way the house was arranged and decorated, I daresay I could have done it myself. Everything was thought of - extra sheets; lap blankets and beach towels rolled tastefully in big woven baskets; good looking and comfortable couches and chairs; plenty of clean white bath towels; heavy and attractive glassware for multiple occasions; pod or ground coffee brewing; lamps by the bedsides; remote controlled ceiling fans; soaps and body washes in both showers.... the list could go on and on... I haven't even mentioned all the beach and grilling and outdoor amenities in the shed! The only thing we wanted for was more garbage bags and more dishwasher pods. The fridge was small but there was another downstairs. We had a great stay and will be back!
