Beautiful View
My family truly enjoyed our stay at Family Paradise. The beautiful lake view is the star of this vacation home. We enjoyed the large kitchen and eating area, as well. There is plenty of seating throughout and even a pool table. If you are looking for a relaxing stay on the lake with plenty of room for family and/or friends, this is it. Unrelated to the home, I was disappointed to see that previous renters had broken bottles and left cans on the lakeshore. I don't know how to stop this, but it was sad to see.

The house is fantastic and had everything for out group’s needs and enjoyment. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room for 12 adults. Firepit and dock were great for outdoor activities. Host was very responsive and helpful with area recommendations.

Getaway with friends.
The lake house was just as nice as advertised. The bedrooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. Kitchen had all the amenities and the furniture was plentiful and comfortable. Huge bay windows provided a great view of the lake with beautiful sunsets. The property is as secluded as you can ask for for such a popular lake. I highly recommend the property to large groups.

Amazing Guys Trip
For years now, our friend group has done an annual weekend trip to catch up and relax. This place is so perfect for that that we might have to make it a regular location! Amazing views, plenty of beds and room. Just an incredible stay that we’d recommend to anyone!

The amazing views from this property are endless! Family Paradise rests at the mid-focal point of the cove! This lake retreat was perfect for our multi-generational (20's through 80's) family holiday celebration! The kitchen is large and fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and appliances! The walk-thru butler's pantry is perfect for holding your groceries! We cooked, baked, ate, laughed, and enjoyed the breathtaking views from every window! Highlights: fishing off the dock, sitting around the firepit in the evenings, taking in the views from the swivel chairs on the top deck, playing pool, and playing cards at the large family table! Family Paradise feels like the lake house that has been in your family for years! The owners are excellent and the process to rent and stay at Family Paradise is easy to follow! Family Paradise is Smith Lake VRBO vacationing at its best!

Perfect spot for a Family Lake trip
The property was perfect for a family trip with young kids. The dock had so many things to play with and the kids loved the slide. The house has a beautiful view of the lake!! And the large dining table and couches were perfect for our group.

Absolutely Perfect
This property was perfect for our family gathering. The view is stunning! It’s very private and they amenities were so nice. The dock was a great place to enjoy lots of swimming without worry of other boaters. Our kids in the group loved the slide, flat form jump, paddle boards, and inflatable lounge. Our communication with the owners couldn’t have been any better and it was so easy. Thanks for sharing this beautiful property!

Family Paradise was a perfect fit for our family. There was just enough bedrooms for all of us. The view of the lake was amazing from most rooms and decks! It was fun to have the diving platform and water slide! We would stay again!

Beautiful spacious house!
Had a wonderful weekend catching up with a handful of old Highschool buddies. Enjoyed the huge kitchen, dining area every morning and evening. What a view! Spent Saturday viewing the lake on a boat that we brought. It was great having a dock to park it under! Spent the last evening swimming and relaxing on the dock! This is the nicest place I've stayed in Smith lake! 5 stars

We had SO MUCH fun at Family Paradise! This is a great place to stay for a reasonable price. The owners were great and got back to us with all our questions. The lake was easy to get to, and the dock is so amazing. The kids loved the slide and jumping platform. The views are incredible. It’s off of the main channel so there was not a lot of boat traffic. ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic Family Reunion at Family Paradise
Property manager approved our Family Reunion. Family Paradise was perfect! Clean, well supplied, lots of room, beautiful view and lake location, water activities on the pier a blast (slide and platform), close and easily accessible boat launch, pool table which can covert to ping pong, foosball, FUN! Roads need a bit of work as you get close to the location but that is expected in the county. Our family highly recommends Family Paradise!

This is the third time we have stayed at this wonderful home and plan on going again next year. We love having a Cove to play in with a wonderful boat dock. The house is comfortable for us all to spend time together and the host is the best ever.

Great Time on the Lake with Family
We booked the house to celebrate our daughter’s high school graduation with family and friends. Overall the experience was exactly what we wanted. The time on the lake was outstanding. If there was anything lacking, it was concerning the trash bins. One of the two trash cans was completely full outside. Since you must take the garbage down the road a piece, it was an inconvenience. Thanks for letting us use your lovely home. We made some wonderful memories.

Smith Lake Vacation 2023
The property was very clean. We brought our boat and LOVED the dock, there is a jump platform, waterslide, and a empty boat slip for us to dock our boat. They also had paddle board that coverts to a kayak for use and it was great fun during our relaxing time. It was in a perfect location on the water tucked away in a cove but in a place where you can view the whole lake. There is one bedroom upstairs and the rest are located on the bottom floor which was nice and helped with noise from the kitchen. The pool table was much used, and there was plenty of room to play without hitting the wall (something we always have a problem with at other properties). The only complaint was the Wifi didn’t work during our trip, but we had good phone service so it was okay.

We had a quick family get away. Upstairs master was perfect for our 85 year old, downstairs queen perfect for couple (one who is 6”-8”) and queen room perfect for last couple. Driveway was a bit treacherous navigating at night but this property was amazing.

Best VRBO we have ever stayed at!
We have stayed in many VRBO rentals in many places, and this house was easily the best we have ever stayed at. First it has a gorgeous view of the lake. Although we stayed in the winter, it was clear that the dock would be perfect for swimming, fishing or sunbathing in the summer. The outdoor furniture on both levels of the deck and out by the fireplace were all great. Next this cabin is stocked with absolutely everything you need for a family getaway. The kitchen was perfect with every utensil imaginable. The only thing we couldn't find was a pair of scissors, and I have no doubt there is a pair somewhere we just overlooked. The quality and comfort of the beds and furnishings was equivalent to home. When I travel, I expect to be disappointed in the bed or the pillows because I am picky; however, the bed was quite comfortable and they even had a pillow I liked. The dining table was enormous with plenty of room for all of us to eat together and play games. The downstairs has a game room with a pool table and Foosball table with comfortable chairs there as well. I highly recommend this rental!

Wonderful getaway!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake house! It had plenty of space for us all, and we used every square inch :) We enjoyed sunsets on the deck, as well as early morning coffee and devotions. Such a serene location. Hands down the prettiest house on that part of the lake, and one of the best views :) The hostess was tremendous to work with - very responsive and flexible!

Everything was great!! We had an amazing time. Only thing I would recommend was cutting back the dead grass and bushes. Walking through it and stepping around it was a little bit of a pain but overall I would stay here again!!

Our family was able to get away for a few days and enjoy the swimming and fishing around the point, where the house overlooks toward an unobstructed view of the lake. Family, swimming, games, a view, and coffee - nothing better.

So much fun!
This was our first time staying at this property - what made us book this home was the slide/dock/platform and that’s what will make us return again! Kids and adults loved it as well as the paddle boards. Plenty of room for our boat in the covered slot was a plus as well. The house was very nice with plenty of room for 2 families to spread out and have their own space. Some of the furniture and bedding definitely needs to be updated but that wouldn’t be a reason for us to not rent again. Shannon was super easy to reach and always answered any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay!

A true paradise on the lake!
This is one of the best lakefront properties I have ever been too! The owner, Shannon, is very responsive! The house itself is gorgeous, and SO CLEAN! There were absolutely no bugs anywhere, not even spiderwebs! I have never stayed in a lake house that felt this well maintained and clean! The views from the house were gorgeous, and the dock was perfect!! The lake was so clean and far enough from the main channel that we didn’t have to worry about boats or anything. I really can’t think of a single issue we had! I would love to stay here again the next time I need a lake house! The last half mile of trip, right before the house, was a little steep and bumpy, but once you got there it was a perfect haven! I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a peaceful weekend away in a gorgeous location!

Awesome Lake Front House!
We have an annual weekend of 3 families with multiple age kids. This lake house accommodates all 3 families comfortably. The house has everything you need - linens, bath towels, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all things you’d need to make a meal. The pantry and space for food storage is huge! This house is always very clean!! The owners are quick to respond to a text if you have a question. We LOVE the dock. The walk down to the water is very easy…not a lot of steps!! Which is rare on Smith Lake. Plus the dock is large and provides shade if you need it. The kids love the water slide and diving platform. We love that the dock is tucked back in the cove off the main lake channel…so you don’t get a lot of boat traffic. It feels safe for kids to splash around at the dock. The house has a gorgeous view of the lake and a wrap around deck to sit outside and enjoy the view. The kids love the downstairs bunk room and the play area. They spend their evenings playing pool and ping-pong and other games. I don’t think the kids watched tv much at all because there’s so much to do. We will rent again and again. It’s our favorite Smith Lake rental house!!

Complete Package Vacation
Great vacation place for family or group. Plenty of room for all inside and outside. Well equipped kitchen, great ac for those that like it cool, plenty of car parking space, easy access to the deep water pier with slide and diving platform. Bring your boat or rent a pontoon just a mile away (by water) for a great time on the lake. During the week the lake had very few boaters which made for great skiing. This place fits its name.

Beautiful home at Smith Lake
The home feels pretty secluded despite being near others. The house with its decks is great. Having a dining room table that seats 12 was perfect for us.The dock area is fantastic, and we appreciated having the pool table and foosball table. There isn’t much nearby. You might think about getting groceries before you get there. Also, bring your own pillow! The pillows aren’t great, and the mattresses are only a little better. However, that did not keep us from having a great trip. If you are renting a boat, Duskin Point Marina isn’t far across the lake, but it is a 40 minute drive.
