« A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you. »

« Pleasant hotel with clean and quiet rooms and plenty of outside parking. Breakfast is good but service is very slow (a mix of a small buffet and table service). Overall, a good place to stay. »

Très bon petit déjeuner. Nous avons aussi choisi de réserver le repas du soir au restaurant de l’hôtel - parfait après une journée de route! Nous recommandons fortement! »

« Lovely spacious room with milk in a fridge and real coffee bags. Comfy bed and super shower. Breakfast was a help yourself to croissant and butter. Would've been good to have had a more healthy option. Such as fruit and/or yogurt in the fridge. Only issue really was the wifi. Couldn't get the TV to work in the morning, and in th3 evening it dropped out a lot. Other than that it was a very comfortable stay. Thank you. »

« The hotel was clean and it had secure parking around the back. Breakfast is incorrectly advertised as online it says breakfast cooked to order, but in reality it is packaged croissants, apples and cereal. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. All round ok stay »

« We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Beeches. We had an evening meal too wgich was excellent. Lots of variety at breakfast - which is self service. Delicious croissants and fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereal too. They have thought carefully about the hear too with a large fan in the room and ice water on arrival. »

« Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! »
