"I have stayed here a few times for various reasons and each time its an enjoyable experience. We had an issue with our bathroom this stay, which would have been obvious when the bedroom was cleaned after the previous guests left. Havent used the spa or sporting facilites, but they look good if you need a gotel with these features. The price to stay is always very reasonable."

With a view out to sea we found this to be a relaxing been of a place with a very reasonably priced simple breakfast offering. It is in bed of some tlc (the carpet on the stairs springs to mind), but otherwise a great place to stay."

"Had a great stay at the Solent hotel. Spa and Swimming facilities are really great and modern. Staff and general services are all good and friendly. The rooms are a little outdated and you can hear your neighbours through the walls. The big problem for me was the terrible beds! unfortunately, ours was awfully soft with a big dip in the middle...I expect better from a 4 star hotel. Overall good stay - would probably return to use the Spa facilities but not stay the night again. "
