« Wonderful home right on a quiet lake. We had access to a kayak and canoe, which my husband used to go fishing a couple times. The outdoor fire pit is great! The home was immaculate and as listed. The host was responsive when we had questions. We would love to go back with friends or family again. »

« This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. »

« We had a fantastic time at this property. The home was spacious, clean, and exactly as described. The open layout made it perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The owners were incredibly responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend—would definitely stay here again! »

« Great location to kayak, see the sunset at the lighthouse and a short drive to access the park and Bar Harbor. The cabin was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. »

« This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet! »

« This was an amazing place to complete our month long trip to Maine! This home was spacious, clean, well stocked and in a great location. We were less than 10 minutes from Southwest Harbor, which is a great little town. It was easy to get around from here and lots of great hiking, eating, and exploring within minutes from the door. The house is on a fairly busy road, but that was never an issue and we were able to play with our dog off leash in the back yard, which leads down to the waterside....

« This was a fabulous property. It was very comfortable, clean and with everything you could possibly need. The setting was beautiful and peaceful and well located for Acadia, beaches and hikes. « We enjoyed our stay and the place was wonderful! We bought things to pack a lunch for Acadia, and it was nice there was a grocery store 2 minutes away. Being able to do a load of laundry after traveling and being hot was amazing! The place we stayed before had a washer and dryer, but we didn't want to buy a lot of detergent for one load. Also, not having us do any clean up before we left was a really nice bonus. I don't mind the small things other places ask us to do, but that you acknowledge...

« This place was so cute and made getting in to Acadia easy. My only complaint was it was listed for up to 6 people but there was an extra charge for more than 4 guests which wasn’t obvious until checkout. However we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay! »
