« We arrived after dark and were a bit skeptical of the place but once we met with Dan, we were glad we chose the place. Our room was neat and cozy with an excellent view of the ocean and the sound of waves splashing against the shore. Dan made us a special vegetarian breakfast both days which was excellent. He really cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make them feel special😊 »

« My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

« Clean, caring, cozy, welcoming and delightful with amazing and delicious 3 course breakfast served in a lovely dining room. The room are vey Victorian and adorable with every amenity. The owners and innkeepers, Cathy and Carl truly care about their guests. We loved our stay and recommend it highly!!! »
