« Lovely property that felt very safe and tucked away. We were worried about the heat and no AC when we arrived- but found that the fans upstairs and keeping the shutters open until we went to bed cooled everything down so nicely. The beaches across the street were really fun- but definitely bigger waves to play in, vs a calm water beach (which there is down the road a bit more). « This lodge was the perfect setup for our family of 4 visiting the Cahuita area for a couple days. Immersed in nature and 5 minutes drive from the village, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet (except for the howler monkeys calls!) as long as you have a rental car. « A perfect room for our stay! The area is quiet with great amenities (outdoor kitchen, bicycles, outdoor seating with a great view), but still within close walking to Puerto Viejo. AC and fans were great and the bathroom shower was hot. The tennants were a quick message away if we had questions. »
