Evadez-vous de tout ... évadez-vous à Bikini Bottom, notre terrain de jeu au bord de la mer. Accessible uniquement par 4 roues motrices, Bikini Bottom est situé à 8 miles de la plage à partir de la fin de l'autoroute 12 et est bien aménagé pour vous garantir des vacances parfaites.

AprĂšs avoir quittĂ© l’autoroute 12, vous sentirez immĂ©diatement votre stress alors que vous longerez la plage et dĂ©couvrirez la beautĂ© sereine des plages du nord. En chemin, vous verrez des lignes de dunes naturelles ornĂ©es d'avoine de mer qui se plient dans les brises du large.

Une fois installĂ© dans notre magnifique Bikini Bottom, promenez-vous le long de la magnifique plage pour vous dĂ©tendre et ramasser les coquillages laissĂ©s par les marĂ©es changeantes, regardez les dauphins jouer et les pĂ©licans glisser, et si vous avez de la chance, jetez un coup d’Ɠil aux chevaux sauvages et leurs familles paissant dans les dunes ou jouant le long du rivage. Retournez pour profiter de nos nombreux ponts face Ă  l'ocĂ©an ou dĂ©tendez-vous dans le hamac du deuxiĂšme Ă©tage pour Ă©couter le rythme des vagues qui s'Ă©crasent contre le sable!

Faites du shopping dans les nombreuses zones commerciales uniques de Corolla et Duck, escaladez le phare de Corolla ou visitez le village historique de Corolla. Beaucoup de bons restaurants se trouvent Ă©galement dans ces zones, ou ramassez du poisson frais et des steaks et retournez Ă  Bikini Bottom pour crĂ©er votre propre chef-d'Ɠuvre! Notre belvĂ©dĂšre de grillades est un endroit relaxant pour se dĂ©tendre et dĂ©guster une boisson froide tout en prĂ©parant votre dĂźner au bord de la mer.

La cuisine bien amĂ©nagĂ©e est un complĂ©ment parfait au kiosque de grillades. Prenez vos repas dans la salle Ă  manger, au bar ou profitez de la brise du soir sur la vĂ©randa! La chambre principale se trouve Ă©galement au dernier Ă©tage, avec une grande salle de bains carrelĂ©e et une terrasse privĂ©e. De plus, du dernier Ă©tage, vous pouvez vous faufiler encore plus loin pour vous dĂ©tendre, lire ou faire une sieste l'aprĂšs-midi! Le deuxiĂšme Ă©tage a une autre chambre principale avec une salle de bain privĂ©e. Au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage se trouvent Ă©galement deux chambres supplĂ©mentaires partageant une salle de bain complĂšte. Toutes les chambres ont des portes coulissantes en verre qui ouvrent sur de grandes terrasses. Le rez-de-chaussĂ©e comprend un canapĂ©-lit double, une demi-baignoire, une kitchenette (avec rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, micro-ondes, Ă©vier et armoires de rangement), une tĂ©lĂ©vision et un lecteur DVD. A l'extĂ©rieur, profitez de la grande piscine privĂ©e et du bain Ă  remous. Profitez Ă©galement de notre kayak deux personnes pour explorer les canaux et mĂȘme la baie. Lancement depuis la rampe de lancement publique Ă  quelques rues de lĂ !

Well maintained and clean. A relaxing getaway.

We just returned from our second stay at this beautiful home, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The house is very well maintained, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway.During our stay, there was an unexpected issue with the air conditioning, but the owner was incredibly responsive and worked quickly to resolve it while we were still there. They kept in communication with us throughout the process and even provided compensation for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated.It’s clear the owner takes great pride in the property and genuinely cares about the comfort of their guests. We had a great experience both times we’ve stayed.

Amazing House with an Excellent Host!!

We’re a family of 5 and we stayed at Bikini Bottom for a week. Michelle was an exceptional hostess and was so prompt in answering all our questions. The house is stunning, clean, modern, and steps from beautiful Carova Beach. The pool and hot tub are 10/10! Can’t say enough great things about our experience here, we loved it so much we’re booking again for next year! The house has everything you will need, including a fully stocked kitchen, beach gear, and lots of space to spread out while relaxing at the house. Our favorites this week included sunrises on the beach (a must!!!), the wild horses everywhere (we saw them every day!!!), the pool and hot tub area and boating and jet skiing in town. Make sure you have a 4x4 as it’s several miles to reach the house. My husband really enjoyed driving on the beach, seeing the wild horses made it a fun adventure. Overall an excellent rental, highly recommend if you want something a little more quiet and secluded!!!

Stunning Property!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 10 and left us wanting for nothing. From the short walk to the gorgeous beach, multiple decks from which to enjoy the view (including sunrises!), including a lovely screened-in porch with cozy seating, comfortable beds in the spacious bedrooms, wonderful pool and hot tub and well-stocked kitchen, we wanted for nothing during our stay. We found every kind of cookware and pans that we could have needed which is a big deal for a family that likes to cook like we do. We saw the horses daily on the beach, the walk to the beach and hanging out near the house. Michelle was readily available and responsive and a terrific host. A few insights to share - one, while we we were able to navigate the dune in our Subarus (Ascent and Outback), if you have the option to get there in a vehicle with higher clearance I would definitely suggest going that route. We were fortunate not to get stuck (experience driving in unplowed snow helped!) but all of the vehicles we did see requiring a tow were similar to ours. Two, the dune drive makes getting to and from town a bit of an undertaking so stock up on all of your groceries on the way if you can (truthfully, we didn't want to leave anyways!). Also, be forewarned that the traffic can be no joke. Three, make sure you plan to get up early at least a couple of mornings to watch the sunrise - it is WELL worth it! Finally, do not hesitate to book this property - you will not regret it!

4x4 Adventure

We had a wonderful week at Bikini Bottom. The location was great, once we realized we had booked a 4x4 beach house. SURPRISE! That mistake was 100% my fault and I’m so glad I made that “mistake”. It was an adventure and we would do it again. The pool was a wonderful amenity, as was the screened porch. The owners were in communication with us the entire week but not in an intrusive way. Have your cameras ready to take pictures of the wild horses.

We stayed at Bikini Bottom with our entire family of 10. The house was very spacious and provided lots of outdoor space as well! The house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked very well! We were apprehensive about the 9 mile drive in the sand but it turned out to be very manageable! Michelle was probably the most responsive host we’ve ever had! She responded to questions any time we asked! She went above and beyond to help with recommendations! We Would highly recommend this house for any family looking for complete relaxation!

Beautiful house, great location, amazing communication

We had the best time! We had an issue with water that was out of the control of the owner, but she was very quick to respond and had the issue handled and fixed extremely quickly! We were very impressed on how quickly the issue was resolved! We had a mix of kids with us ages 2, 6, 7, 8, and 10 and they all had fun. We would definitely love to stay again some time in the future.

Ah-Mazing

If you want to get away from it all, this is the house for you. Nine miles down a four-wheel-drive-only beach, which is seriously daunting the first few times. Don't worry, though. By the end of your stay, you'll be a pro. A couple days before checkin, I got a text from the owner, welcoming us, if you need anything, etc. It was a big relief having direct communication with her, and she was very prompt in her responses. We had two adults, four teens, and a tween staying in this house, and we were very comfortable, didn't feel at all like we were on top of each other all the time. This is the first time in my many years of renting vacation homes that I actually felt like I was living in a home. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Foil, cooking spray, sandwich bags, flashlights, food storage containers, and more. There were tons of books, board games, and coloring books with crayons. Lots of beach chairs, sand toys, and pool toys. We did try out the kayak with success! The only thing I would have liked better would be restaurants nearby. This is only a personal thing, I realize, but I really don't like to cook on vacation. There are restaurants in Corolla, but they are a half hour one way away, down the nine miles of bumpy beach. Luckily, there is also a great grocery store in Corolla. In all, this house was amazing!! We loved it so much and really didn't want to leave.

There’s a lot with the cleaning service that is lacking. We also only got one parking pass and after contacting the owners no solution to a second pass was relayed. There were items that didn’t work or were broken. There were just several items that stacked up for us that made for a disappointing trip.

Paradise

This was our second stay in this home. It’s such a wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect! This house had everything that you could possibly need to ensure a pleasant stay. The kitchen is well equipped with pots/ pans/ silverware, and everything needed to prepare meals. They provide nice chairs on each deck, It’s so relaxing to sit on them especially in the evenings listening to the ocean waves. The beach is a short walk away, we really enjoyed walking to it several times a day. If you just want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of a busy life and be at a place that you can get some real rest and relaxation this is it! The horses came through the yard everyday, it was so interesting to watch them. Michelle is very quick to respond to any questions that you may have. We had a small issue one day and she was very quick to respond back ensuring that everything was all right. We had a variety of age groups, it was perfect for all of us! Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it!

The house was nice and just a block from the beach. The description was very accurate. First time staying up that far north. Only thing I did t like was traveling up and down beach to get to any stores or ice. Because the fire station ice machine was broke. The whole week we were there.

Location, location, location

The property itself definitely needs some updates on the outside but inside was cozy. We seen horses daily. It takes no time to drive to the beach. We loved the deck coming off the living room where you have a beautiful view of everything.

It was everything we hoped and more. Weather was beautiful, wild horses were stunning and we spotted them daily. The ocean and the beach were pristine. House had ample space, we enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub. The decks provided amazing views. And we made memories to last a lifetime. We definitely recommend!

2023 family vacation

What a lovely, family-friendly home. You can tell there have been some great memories made here. There's something for everyone to do. We drove down to the beach once daily to bring the beach chairs and set up a tent, but it's definitely not a long walk. My father-in-law is not a huge fan of the beach but he was fishing, grilling, and the pool. He would have kayaked but he recently had knee surgery. We saw wild horses pretty much every day. We went to the fire station to get ice (life-saver!!) and we drove up to where you can find the best seashells....thank you for all the suggestions!

Bucket list

This was a bucket list vacation for us to stay in the OBX and see the wild horses roaming the beach. We had a great time exploring everything Corolla, Duck, and Nags Head had to offer. We watched the most beautiful sunrises in the mornings with the wild horses right there with us. We dug for sand fleas to use as bait for fishing (we didn't catch anything, but the kids had fun). We saw crabs and dolphins and we even saw a guy catch a stingray. We toured the lighthouse, rented a boat and explored the sound in Duck, ate at some great restaurants and hangout at the beach and pool. The house is located in a great spot that's far enough away from the busier part of the beach. As reference, we walked to Virginia beach that was approximately 2 miles. This property has everything you would need to have a great vacation. Sun, beach, pool, and wild horses what more do you need?! We will definitely be back. Very remote

The property is extremely remote. The driving conditions are very rough. Would recommend a truck or jeep, otherwise run the risk of damaging your vehicle. It is a solid 45 minute drive down the beach to get to civilization. Keep in mind you have to time leaving based on high/low tide. No one will deliver anything in this area given the rough terrain. The house could certainly use some updating. The outside is rusted and worn which is not reflected in listing photos. The interior could use a deep cleaning. It was a tight fit with 6 adults and 3 kids. Unfortunately, there was a dead bird under the sofa which we discovered while playing on the floor with our children. After a very long travel day we retired to our bedrooms only to discover none of the beds were made. The pool is nice but is not heated so we could not use it much. Unfortunately, toilet paper and paper towels were not provided. We did feel confined to the house especially on days when weather was bad. The owner did communicate during our stay and had maintenance come to the property to fix water pressure. Additionally, we requested more towels which were provided. Maintenance also informed us not to use water between 1-5 am as sewage water will flow through, which was not communicated by owner. I think you can find significantly better value and amenities at another location.

Love this house

This is such a beautiful house. This is our second time staying here and it was great. Great pool hot tub access to the beach. Everything is as described. Kitchen has everything you need. Pool toys chairs and do much more. Will definitely stay here again. Michelle is a wonderful owner and so responsive. We had a blast.

Happiness at Bikini Bottom

From day 1 communication with the owner was amazing. Always a quick response to any questions leading up and during our stay. The property is perfect for a quick walk to the beach and rides to see horses ( which we saw many). Pool was lots of fun and the main deck was perfect fro breakfast and nighttime chats. Rooms were great and roomy bathrooms. Great family vacation house.

Fantastic week

The property was as advertised. Everything was clean, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and we enjoyed both very much. We took advantage of the outdoor grilling area multiple nights. I would highly recommended this house and would definitely rent it in the future

Amazing Trip

We had a fantastic time at Bikini Bottom! Our group included two families with tweens/teens and everyone loved the place. The layout was perfect, and I especially loved the front deck and side porch, both of which had a view of the ocean. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The pool and hot tub were also very clean! Our group enjoyed the two person kayak almost everyday, and we saw horses in the yard several times during the week also! Everything you could want in an OBX vacation!

Bikini Bottom is a MUST stay!

If you want the full 4x4 section of OBX experience this is the house to stay at! An easy 5 minute walk to the beach! You can also sit on any deck and hear the birds and the ocean. Be sure to catch the sunrise from the top deck, it's beautiful!! You can also see the wild horses often, they even came for a visit onto the property. The only issue we had was the air mattress would not stay blown up (we did try to patch it) and 2 of the beds seem to be broken (we tried our best to fix them). We had 12 people and this was the perfect house for us!! The pool and hot tub were amazing!!! We will totally keep this house in mind for our next OBX trip! 💜

Wild horses and the beach!

We chose Bikini Bottom for the horses and really enjoyed them. The house had everything we needed for our group of 5 to be comfortable and enjoy a week at the beach. The only downside was the drive to the house. We have a Toyota Highlander SUV all wheel drive and can put it into 4-wheel drive. If I were to stay in this part of the outer banks again, I would only drive in a true 4-wheel drive vehicle. The trucks and jeeps drove on the beach effortlessly. If you have the right vehicle or can rent one, I'd definitely recommend this property especially if you want to be in a less busy part of the Outer Banks. The owner was so helpful and welcoming!
