Views For Days!!!
We stayed at Whale Watch for 5 nights this May and enjoyed every minute. The house is lovely and well appointed. We especially loved the large porch where we could literally see all of Middle Caicos. Ocean breezes and endless sunshine filled our days and having a pool with a view of Mudjin Harbor was absolutely incredible. Short driving distance to Bambarra Beach, Seaview Cafe and the caves. Communication with the owner and house manager was terrific, check in/out was a breeze. We had everything we could need and will definitely be booking Whale Watch again in the future!

TCI Middle Caicos
Wonderful place to stay. House was nice and location spectacular. The rooms are not incredibly big nor private from each other (on the main floor) but the views are stunning. We would definitely come back. Best grocery selection was definitely Dard's (we stopped at every one of them to check them out) The pace of TCI is slow and North Caicos is even slower...which means Middle Caicos is incredibly slooooooooow. Even the stray dogs were lazy and easy going. Just wandering around and being nice but not nosey or annoying. So the take away is, if you need something, don't be in a hurry or get upset that it is not there right away. The towels were not ready when we arrived and so we air dried after the beach trip when we arrived. There was only one roll of toilet paper for the entire place...but towels and TP were there later that night. The property manager didn't make it by in the three days we were there to get the WiFi working. Just a different pace that needs to be expected. Not the end of the world for us...especially since we felt like we were close to the end of the world and somewhat checking off the grid! LOL No stores or gas stations or evening places to visit nearby...so stock up and enjoy being "out there". The owners were very responsive and very helpful and worked to get things fixed up. Very appreciative of their support and efforts.

Hi Brody! We really appreciate your feedback and your patience! I apologize for the wifi as I am not sure what was going on and we had an electrical issue with the dryer and had to find an electrician to come check it...which you can tell took some time! Finally got it fixed though...just in time so our cleaning lady didn't have to run our loads of laundry around to other houses to get them dry!! You guys were a pleasure to deal with! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful and peaceful. People of North and Middle are AALL FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. A step back in time. Didn’t think we would use the pool much- we did. And it’s great. Wonder if 20 years from now, will North and Middle be the same? It’s special.

We had a great stay at Whalewatch. The pool was so nice. Cindy was an excellent host! Dragon Cay is so spectacularly beautiful and having the luxury of the Mudjin bar and cafe right there was so special! We can’t wait to go back!

Beach, hiking and swimming - perfect location
We enjoyed the peaceful environment, amazing views and pool! We loved everything about our stay at Whale Watch - except for the mosquitos! However - along with all the typical amenities - there was both sunscreen and bug spray available in the house. If you are looking for a party environment, loud and crazy night clubs this is NOT the place for you. This is a family, chill environment and being greeted by the housekeeper and local property manager made us feel super comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful way to discover Middle Caicos
This property is a great way to get away from it all, yet it was close to an awesome bar/restaurant in Dragon Cay. There are a few homes nearby, but we seldom saw others. We rented a Jeep and had a great time traveling the area. The sailboat race festival was amazing with wonderful island food and music! A great experience.

Beautiful Location and Stunning Views
Whale Watch Villa was great for our family - the location is absolutely beautiful. The house set-up is great-kitchen is really well equipped and the pool area is really nice. Make sure you bring bug spray--we had lots of mosquitos and no-seeums the week we were there. We did find more insect repellent at the Texaco Gas station on North Caicos. The restaurant at Dragon Cay is a short walk from the house and the food is delicious-it is open for lunch and while we were there for dinner on Wednesday and Saturdays. We also ate at Sea View Cafe in Conch Bar--very yummy. Make sure you get ice cream at Parrotice on North Caicos-really cute place and good homemade ice cream. We brought some dry goods with us and purchased the rest of our groceries on North Caicos (Dards was well stocked). We cooked most dinners at the house. The beach at Dragon Cay is beautiful-we snorkeled at low tide and went out to the cay. We also went to Bambarra Beach twice and walked out to the cay there. The water was very calm at Bambarra Beach and it is a short drive from Dragon Cay. Whale Watch Villa was beautiful and a great place for a family vacation.

Met All Expectations
My wife and I were looking for a getaway to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We were looking for a place to go and not have to put up with crowds and just be able to relax. The Whale Watch met those expectations. Very secluded, I think one night is was only the two of us and another home that looks like they live there year round within 10 miles of us. The only things we thought of that would improve the stay would be a first aid kit on site (one of us got a cut and we did find a couple of Band-Aids but that was it) and instructions on emergency care (one of us on the last night of our stay could have potentially had to go to ER), We were very thankful for the pool as the beaches were seaweed lined. I think this is happening in many places across the Caribbean. We did end up going to Bambarra Beach one day and it beautiful.. We will definitely be back.

My FAVORITE Vrbo Eva'!
Our goal was to experience something roomie (there were 6 of us), quiet, secluded and with a short walk to a beautiful beach. Nailed it!! The beach is visible and audible from the house - breathtaking view of it from the windows and porch - and from the pool. I pretended to be shipwrecked there and hoped for NO ONE to rescue me. Honestly, it was a perfect vacay for my family escaping big city life. We did see a few other people.. at the nearby restaurant (visible from the property - grateful for it's easy access) and visitors that probably traveled by fairy for a day trip to explore that same gorgeous beach - can't blame them, it's the most phenomenal scenery! All visitors seem to disappear at the same time each day though, probably because they had to catch the scheduled boats back to their own vacation spots. When they disappeared, we had a completely isolated vibe again - I loved that! Oh, and we explored Indian Caves (minutes away on foot) all alone - whoa, that was so surreal! The beach house is way cool! I love the sliding barn doors to two of the bedrooms - modern touch. The outdoor shower is a brilliant addition too - the stars at night from that warm shower just before bed was majestic. And there is seating evvvvverrrywhere - you have many options to cozy up with a book, nap, or catch up with people you love. We played board games at night in the living room - tons of room for the 6 of us to spread out. It was everything I needed in a family vacay and more! I send the owners LOVE for their generosity to rent out their extraordinary home away from home. THANK YOU!!!! -XO

Perfectly secluded private vacation
We loved the experience! The home is comfortable - everything we needed to make meals was provided. The pool was a fantastic way to cool off. Views are out of this world!!! Nearby beaches we had to ourselves every morning and evening. One thing to know that we learned the hard way is to check the ferry times before you book your dates. Our flight landed at 3:30 and the last ferry is at four. We were stranded in Provo for the night even though we paid for the night at Conch Bar.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!
Wanna getaway?! Wanna disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life?! This location is spectacular! The house exceeded my expectations and has everything you need and very well kept! The views are gorgeous and the beach area is very relaxing. It is a short walk to the beach and has 2 really cool cave-like areas, especially the area that you have to take some stairs that go into the ground (don’t be afraid, it’s awesome!). I highly recommend anyone visiting Middle Caicos to rent a car so you have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Getting to Middle Caicos was very enjoyable and will leave you in awe because of the beautiful turquoise water. Do not hesitate to book this location….you will not regret it!

Amazing location
This house is located in a dream location! Just for that it’s worth every cent. Finding the house was easy. The pool was really nice to have. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The house is very clean, the water is filtered and soft. There’s a pair Nikon binocular that is fabulous to watch birds with and in season, I hear to watch whales, unfortunately we were not there in season. The beds are comfortable the sheets & bedding clean & soft. A few Cons: the showers! Only One was usable. The other indoor one sort of drips some water not enough for an actual shower, and the one that’s outside is fun during the day but not for a night shower since there’s no lights and too many mosquitoes! The house manager is available and helpful so a few other issues were resolved once contacting him. Wifi worked excellent. The lights are quite dim and scarce in the house so reading a book at night is problematic if you don’t want to sit at the kitchen table. The lock on the front door was too rusty to use and we were afraid we wouldn’t be able to unlock it once we got back so just hid our passports and any other valuables and didn’t use the key (there is a safe but it’s a box in a closet so if anyone did come in they could just take it with them). There are barely any people in the area so it’s absolutely safe as far as we can tell so this wasn’t much of a worry for us. The owner is not very communicative so before arriving figure out what you need on this island from other sources. All in all, this was a fabulous place to spend 5 days.

I am a little confused about your comment on the owner wasn’t very communicative as I responded to all your emails and gave you any info you needed. This was definitely a first as all our guests have always appreciated all my communication and helpful info I always provide for all our houses. I am sorry that you did not feel that was the case. What a lovely week we enjoyed at Whale Watch. Swimming, sunning and yes, whales were spotted from the lovely and comfortable front porch. I cannot think of a more comfortable and beautiful place to relax.

Our 4th time as a family to Middle and third time staying at Dragon Cay. Whale Watch has a great porch with amazing views. Especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. Nothing like showering under thousands of stars! Also the king bed downstairs was so very comfortable. We love Middle Caicos and can't wait to return! Would stay here again, no doubt!

Simply Paradise
We absolutely loved our stay at Whale Watch. We came with our adult children. The house has everything you need. We used the grill nightly. The beach is the most beautiful in Middle Caicos and just feet from the home. The views are beautiful and all of the people we met in Middle Caicos were very kind. We took day trips about 20 minutes from the house to other beaches, and while all were lovely, we found our beach at Mudjin Harbour the most beautiful. Don’t forget to pack your food before taking the ferry to Middle Caicos. It’s well worth it. But then eat out at My Dee’s on Friday night for BBQ and stop at the ice cream shop on the way. This was a perfectly relaxing vacation with also enough to do.

Great location and since it was our second trip to Middle Caicos we already knew what to expect. This island is for people who want to enjoy true island life, which sadly no longer exists on Provo with it's over-development. This location is perfect because it's right in the middle of our favorite places to go on North and Middle Caicos. If you like uncrowded beaches and beautiful views this is the place. We snorkeled a lot and saw some great ocean life. The corral is doing very well in many places, but especially on the north side of 3 Mary and Wild Cow run. The home is as nice as the pictures portrayed and everything we needed was there, from pots and pans to everything in between. We had a great stay.

Perfect Location in Paradise
Dragon Cay - Whale Watch Villa was amazing. The view was gorgeous and we even got to see some whales. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the view. I fell in love with the peace and quiet of the waves and sea breeze. A perfect beach for a private wedding ceremony and honeymoon. The owner/manager was great and everything was ideal for what we wanted - privacy.

Great family vacation, we'll be back!
Great house, incredible location. Took my family of 4 and stayed a week. We loved playing on the empty beach in front of the house every day, exploring the island and finding new beaches, getting ice cream (it's some of the best ice cream we've ever had) at Parrot Ice Cream, having lunch at Mudjin Harbor Grill a few steps from the house, and sitting on the porch and enjoying the view with a bottle of wine. We grilled almost every night on the gas grill provided, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cindy was super helpful every step of the way, and the property manager was always close by if we had questions. We loved spending the week together at Whale Watch and we would love to return.

“Changes in latitude, changes in attitude”
Kinda says it all!! The home was beautiful, views were outstanding, the weather?? Well ...she could have shown up a bit more, but we still had a great time. The other reviews about traditional grocery stores were no joke. I actually packed a cooler with dry ice which seems like a big fat hassle, but so very worth in the long run, as the stores nearby have limited selection and a big price tag. Shout out to our excellent cab driver Kovan (not sure of the company) - really nice guy - I have his # if anyone needs a ride - just message me.

Heaven on earth
If you are looking for a more remote get away to deflate and relax from the hustle bustle of life, this is a place to go. Its beautiful, clean just as advertised. Mike was great to greet us and show us the home. The view is spectacular and the warm tradewinds are awesome!!! We miss sitting on the rockers on the front porch. We enjoy walking beaches and there are many , all beautiful! Since Dragon Cay is in a central location, its easy to get to all. We look forward to coming back.

This property is amazing. We had two couples. Easily could hold three couples. -View is stunning, access to beach is easy -Mudjin Cafe on site great for lunch -Kitchen is well appointed, decor is great -Owner provided fantastic homemade guidebook of region -Saw whales from porch, turtle and bonefish at beach A vacation on Middle Caicos is not for everyone. A ferry is required to get to North Caicos, most will rent a car from there to drive to Middle Caicos. Groceries and restaurant access are limited once you leave Provo. However, if you are fine with those pared down options, or if you bring much of your own food, you will be at a stunning location and have access to beautiful and nearly empty beaches (Platico, Bambarra, Whitby). For miles, and miles. Don't miss the caves, plantation and trails.

Family Christmas in Paradise
If you're considering this property and are concerned it has so few reviews, don't be! Whale Watch is worth the logistics to get there. We stayed here for a week over Christmas with our two adult children and loved every day more than the previous day. Whale Watch is a remote, laid back property that is about an hour and a half from the airport in Provo (including a ferry ride). The house sits on top of a hill with breathtaking views of Mudjin Harbor. We spent our mornings drinking coffee and daiquiris from the porch or walking the beach and our afternoons exploring the many dirt roads to some of the most spectacular waters. A few things to note if you choose this adventure - 1)There are few stores in North and Middle Caicos, so get your groceries in advance or take advantage of Mike and Ramona's (the amazing property managers) offer to shop for you - it's worth it and if you do find you need some re-stock, know that you're going to pay higher prices and a limited selection. We cooked most of our own meals and packed dried-goods in our suitcase to save a little on the grocery bill. 2) Get out and explore! There are so many remote beaches that you could spend a week on a different beach each day. 3) Eat lunch at the Mudjin Harbor Grill just a minute walk from Whale Watch! They have amazing fresh fish and a homemade hot sauce that will knock your socks off! We also recommend MyDee's and Silver Palm (Call ahead to ensure they are open). 4) Bring bug-spray and apply it judiciously. We were there at the end of the rainy season, so the no-see-ums were no joke and unfortunately, I am notoriously attractive to bugs. The rest of my family got the bites, but without the swelling. Also note that lizards, tree frogs and other crawly critters are a part of island living. Let them be and they will let you be. 4) Kick back and enjoy the slow-moving island time. It's rare to find a place so beautiful and even rarer to have no planned agenda. We cannot wait to return to paradise!

Amazing house with a million dollar view
We loved our experience at Whale Watch. The villa was just as described but even better in person! The view was absolutely incredible from each of the bedrooms and the living room. The front porch was amazing whether it was coffee, cocktails or a book, we really enjoyed relaxing there with that mesmerizing view!! It was so easy to get there. Taxi's take you directly to the ferry which is about 25 minutes from the airport and will even stop at the market, though we later learned that you can get quite a bit on North from various small markets there. We rented a car from Al's ahead of time and it was a beautiful 25 minute ride to the house. The kitchen was well stocked & very clean. The rest of the house was appointed well and was updated with new furniture, mattresses and bedding. We had lunch at Mudjin Harbor grill, cooked in and dined out. I would recommend calling restaurants ahead of time because a few were closed because it was the off season. We explored several other beaches on the Island and they were all beautiful, however, Mudjin Harbor beach where the house is, was hard to top. We will definately return but plan on stayong a week next time! The owner Cindy was great. She answered all of our questions and was able to give us lots of suggestions since this was our first trip there.
