« It was awful, we could not sleep there and had to find other accommodation. The owner refused to reimburse us The address was wrong. When we finally found the place, despite being listed as non-smoking only, it had a gut-churning stench of cigarette (and maybe other) smoke. There were long hairs and cobwebs on the pillow and pubic hairs and dirt in the bed. There was an entire meal in the microwave. « We had a lovely visit. Bugs are the reason for low ratings. Pros: Great kitchen, dining area, and living area. Pool was wonderful, but …Cons: The pool’s ‘shallow end’ was 4 feet deep, so young kids were unable to stand up and play in the pool. This should be noted in house description. There was an infestation of lady bugs (bi-annual owners said). They were all over, dead and alive. Other bugs as well, dead flies, crawling things. Unpleasant. »

« The cabin was clean, with good air conditioning & a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. (I would caution those unfamiliar with life by the river that inside lights should always be turned off when opening exterior doors as little tiny black bugs tend to swarm in--they tend to die off quickly and just need to be swept up & wiped away--just a nuisance, but mostly avoidable by ensuring the lights are off when leaving the cabin.) Au premier, une grande salle qui donne sur une deuxième terrasse et le jacuzzi…les hombres et lits sont très confortable et il y plusieurs lits d’appoints...
