« More then I had hoped for. Great location, close to town but so private. »

« Happy with our stay. The cottage is spacious, clean, and welcoming. We enjoyed playing ping pong and going to the private beach which is three minutes from the cottage if you are not afraid of taking a steep stairwell down the mountain. Otherwise, you can also make a little detour by walking on the road. A beautiful view on the lake from a large balcony overlooking the lake. We also liked the fact that the cottage is very close to Gatineau, 30 minutes drive for us. We might go back next year if...

« Peaceful and scenic property with private beach area, dock, kayaks fire pit. My family really enjoyed being so close to the water, swimming near the dock, using the provided kayaks and paddle board as well as using the fire pit. Inside the house was everything we needed for a relaxing stay- 3 bedrooms, plenty of space, climate control, washer/dryer, working kitchen and bathroom. Caring and communicative host. »

« We really enjoyed the cottage and location. We didn’t fully take advantage of the outdoor facilities, but enjoyed sitting on the dock and appreciated all the options that were there. My only comment is that it wasn’t clear how many cottages share the outdoor facilities, which I could see being busy during the summer »

« Great cottage! The view and location is amazing, took advantage of the kayaks. The host was super responsive to all inquiries. One caveat, you should like birds and nature, recommend bringing a good camera. »

« Multiple decks to enjoy sun or shay all times of the day. Beautiful clean lake with lots of fish and places to explore with provided kayaks and paddle board. Beautiful well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Tonnes of seating inside and out. Outdoor shower with a spectacular view is a must for everyone!!! Comfortable beds in spacious rooms with spectacular views of the lake. Host responded very quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!!!! »

« Nous avons adoré notre weekend entre amis au chalet la Grande Ourse. Il y avait beaucoup de places et surtout BEAUCOUP de choses à faire qu’il fasse beau ou pluvieux. Tout y était! Nous y retournerons. :) »

« Belle maison avec un beau lac. La route est à peine audible de l’intérieur, et peu importe quand vous êtes au bord du lac pour observer la faune : tortues, oies, grenouilles, huards et muscrats. »
