« Beautiful space »

« Nice and cozy cottage with an amazing view. Kids loved the Down stares, pool table. Fireplace was very comforting in the chilly wind. It was warm relaxing getaway. »

« House and location perfect. We stayed with a group of 6 for 2 nights . The house is beautifully presented, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay along with plenty of firewood to keep us warm! Close to town with some great wineries close by. »

« An excellent property for 2 couples to relax in for the weekend with an event in Katoomba and a free Sunday in the mega long valley. Very well appointed house is luxurious & homely. Outdoor fireplace was perfect for a glass of local wine and a cheese plate. Great owner with excellent comms. Highly recommend. »

« We spent the most magical family Christmas at this beautiful house this year. The house was perfectly styled and appointed (including the most gorgeous Christmas tree). The whole family, including our pugalier, enjoyed every aspect of the house, including the beautiful garden (great for cricket), the pizza oven and the super comfortable beds. Carol was an exceptionally helpful and generous host and we can’t wait to return! »

« Cute little cottage with everything we needed. Was small but fine for a family of four. Dining table perfect for board games! »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Lavender House - it's very convenient, only a 10-15 minute walk into Katoomba but also on the quieter side and away from the Easter crowds. The cottage is lovely and quiet - we'd love to go back in Winter and use the fire! »

« My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. It's very well equipped, with a wonderful peaceful garden. The interiors are very homey and has everything you need for a stay in the Blue Mountains.Only downside is that there is not a lot of parking on the property, and off street parking is a little tricky. There was also some broken glass on the carpet in the dining room when we arrived but it was easy enough to clean up. »

« We had a large group of friends staying at Iona Park for a reunion and we were all absolutely blown away. From the moment you arrive, the facilities are jaw dropping. Both the inside, especially the pool room and library, and outside (double tennis court!) were stunning. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty big enough to accommodate all of us. The check-in process was very smooth and the hosts were a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough! »

« The house is roomy and very comfortable - The pictures on the site must have been taken quite some time ago and is not an accurate representation of what you walk into.Beware that there is no WiFi - the advert may have changed - if you are going with kids who are data hungry then be sure to take a WiFi device with you.If you have disability with respect to knees / hips / back - the bath may well be problematic for you.We hired the house given its proximity to the town centre - four mates who...
