« We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. « We did not have a room in the house, instead had very small room in an out building. Room was musty. Had small window AC unit. No tv. Some stains on old pink carpet. Main house locked at night so no access to coffee or TV. No ice available. WiFi went out every night and there was no cell service so we couldn’t check on our house and dogs. Inn keepers / owners Bernard were very pleasant however we would not stay there again. »

« This was such a wonderful experience. We stayed at this lake front property for two weeks while we checked out our new hometown. Lindsay was the perfect host. It’s a lovely lakefront property with everything you’d need. The only thing we regretted was that we didn’t have the whole family to enjoy it!!!!! »
