« We found the property just as advertised. The house was very clean, and the owner was very accommodating. He met us upon arrival to show us the features of the property and provide instructions for everything. He also provided his phone number so we could contact him if we had any questions. We enjoyed hiking in the area and then came “home” each evening to a comfortable house and a lovely fire pit for relaxation. The indoor fireplace was also wonderful on chilly mornings. « Absolutely beautiful. The house was well equipped and so comfortable. The sounds of the river were music to our ears. We will go again. The host was fabulous and saw to all our needs. It is out of the way, but so worth it. And a really good access to the Allegheny Trail, whether you are a biker or walker. So much to see and do and a great place to come back to in the evening. Don't miss this one. »

« Black Diamond Chalet was the perfect weekend getaway for a group of 12. The location was a very easy drive from the Pittsburgh area using GPS. Inside, everything was well stocked, clean, and the jacuzzi tub was a perfect addition.Overall communication with the property manager for a few questions were responded to promptly. My only issue was the proximity to the neighboring property, and would strongly suggest a privacy screen/fence/wall to be implemented around the hot tub area. I would...

« Absolutely beautiful chalet and the lake was breathtaking »

« Place perfect for us.. Golf course perfect for walks and seeing deer at twilight. Beautiful views and sunset over mountains.Tyler great host and returned messages promptly.Only con was alot of poor golfers hitting balls around open back patio. Plan to come back next year!! »

« We've been coming to this cabin off and on for 17 years, and it never disappoints. It's rustic, yet modern -- new appliances and bathrooms, new washer-dryer, new master bedroom, etc. But it still feels like an old A-frame ski lodge from the 1970s, especially with the vintage carpeting and living room furniture.
