« I was impressed with how well preserved the home was. I didn't notice if it was there but a little house history would have been fun to know. Like what year it was built.Our stay was lovely. This has been a difficult year for my family, a lot of heartbreak & heartache. This was a nice opportunity for my adult son, adult daughter and her 10 year old son, and my husband, their step father, to spend time together, for us to all have a change of senery and just enjoy being together. »

While my husband and son enjoyed the pinball game, the description implies there are many games to choose from and there weren’t. Not a deal killer, but might need to lower those expectations. « We have rented large reunion places before. This one looks better online than it was in person. Functionally everything worked, but the decor and furniture were highly dated, hence four stars instead of five. The cleanliness was OK except in the basement, which was very dusty. We had great conversations with the owner. He was very cooperative and easy to deal with. The one disappointment was the hot tub was not working. The pool however, was terrific. »

The house is in a wooded setting and was large enough to accommodate our group without feeling crowded. It was very clean and communication was good. Check-in was easy and internet was good. There is no TV so we brought one and a Roku and we were able to stream programs. The kitchen was well supplied with some basic spices and coffee. Additional dishes and silverware would be nice...

Overall the house had a strange smell to it, do t know if it was from cleaning products or what. Bathroom sink was dirty, soap dispenser was dirty and the shower was discussing! Sheets in one bedroom had something g white on them in two places. Would not stay here again; needs a good cleaning. »
