« My favorite place in Maine. Saw a bald eagle every morning. Beautiful and amazing place! »

« Superbe chalet très près de la mer. Fenestration et grande galerie qui permettent de profiter de la vue de la mer et ce, même par temps de pluie. Visite faite avec 2 chiens de grande taille, chalet parfait pour eux également. Seul hic c’est qu’il n’y a vraiment pas grand chose à Jonesport, plus proche épicerie à 22 minutes d’auto. Très propre et très beau chalet! »

« If you are not a morning person, a stay at Lubec Cottage will make you one. Waking up to the sunrise outside the french doors of the master bedroom is just stunning! « Everything about the gardener lake house was wonderful. The drive-in is like going into another world down a long dirt road to privacy and spectacular view of the lake. « We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning. »

« It is a lovely home very close to schoodic and not too far from the rest of Acadia - a bit over an hour and an eazy drive that. Most importantly everything was very clean and very comfortable. Check in was very simple and the host was great about communication. As a bonus we also had the best stargazing at night!! »

« The sunrises from the back porch were great. That it is a part of a working boatyard and the fleet in the bay added interest and authenticity. The location is rural, quiet but close to towns, parks, nature preserves and Acadia. The cabin was neat and clean, furniture was comfortable. The tableware and kitchen utensils were a little on the sparse side, but we really enjoyed our stay here. »
