« We loved the cabin. The location was beautiful and the cabin was clean. It was a cold time of year, but there were plenty of space heaters to warm up the rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. We especially enjoyed the hot tub.One small complaint was the number of scent deodorizers placed through out the cabin. « We three lady friends celebrating birthdays were here for a super cold week in December with plans to walk everywhere, and we still did. Braving the cold, we enjoyed shops and restaurants nearby as well as a great musical at Barter theater. House was cute, cozy, and clean. Easy in and out. »

« Willow cabin was a perfect fit for us (3 adults and 1 dog). Located on ancestral property, we are so glad we have Watauga River Cabins as rental options when we are visiting “back home”. At the time of our 5 night stay the cabin had been recently built and almost everything in it was brand new. Sitting on somewhat of a cliff (caution necessary) overlooking a 90 degree bend of the Watauga river, the cabin must provide one of the best views of any publicly available rental cabin on the river.
