« We had a great time at the cabin with our two boys. Family of four. We stayed four nights total and definitely had a hard time leaving this place. Beds were really comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed to cook, and the cabin was clean and cozy. We made a lot of meals on the grill and loved the campfire for smores. « This was a very cozy house that was stocked with everything needed for a welcoming, comfortable stay. My father was admitted to the VA hospital in Johnson City and I was staying with my 87-year-old cognitively impaired mother. The layout of the house was perfect with a bedroom in the front and another bedroom in the back next to the bathroom for her.It was a very stressful week, but I think the peacefulness of the property and the thoughtfulness of the host, was a blessing. « What a wonderful stay we had ! Our hosts were amazing and responsive and the house and property are amazing. We (2 kids and 4 adults) were treated to a winter wonderland with enough snow to sled on. We hiked at Grayson Highlands, had coffee and treats at the general store in Lansing, checked out the fly fishing spots, and visited Damascus and West Jefferson. Such a beautiful place to unwind! At the end of each day we read books by the fire and walked the extensive trails on the property...
