« We had a great stay. The whole place was clean and as advertised. The bed was comfy. The kitchen had plenty of “supplies” for cooking over the weekend. The cabin overlooks the lake, it’s a beautiful view. The hot tub was clean and hot, however it was extremely cold while we were there so we hardly used it but the sauna was nice. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and answered quickly. We plan on coming back. »

« Christina was an amazing host! She was accommodating, communicative, and welcoming to the needs of our group. The island, outdoor space, and cabin are GORGEOUS. The primary bedroom has stellar views of the Mississippi River. The other cabin bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and the connected 'guest house' area is unique and fun. The open kitchen, and other gathering spaces make a perfect gathering space for hosting groups of any size. »

« Great relaxing weekend. Loved sitting in the swings during sun set watching all the wild life on the river with nothing but peace and quite. Cozy and clean cabin with just enough room. Ended up with a snow storm during our 2nd night, but the plow came all the way down and got out without any issues. »

« It was a mostly quiet cabin in the woods that we were hoping for. We were able to bring our 2 dogs so very thankful for that. Which I did pay for the extra fees at booking.There was a very strong mold odor as soon as you walk in the door and the floors (newer lamanate) were pretty but soft and mushy. There were crackes in the walls abd door frames and what looked like poop on the door. There was old crusted food on the ice dispenser on the freezer that didnt work and on the coffee pots. We...

« The cabin was nice. Very clean and had all that was explained with the exception of WIFI and TV. I was not able to put in my time for work as there was no WIFI as we were told. When I inquired about it, I was told that the owner had to go to a new internet and the signal must not have been strong enough. I missed out on a day of work because of this. Other than that, the stay was nice. »

« Nicely situated on the lake with a very nice dock. Outdoor deck areas needed a thorough cleaning/sweeping before being considered usable. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was noticeably lacking. Very nice kitchen area with most utensils provided (no toaster!). Living area seats 4 on one cozy couch. Only one Kayak with no paddles or life jacket was provided. Temper your expectation and you will be fine. »

« We had a lovely week at the Forest Lake House with our pups. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great and the fenced off area for the dogs is super convenient. The sun rises over the lake and sets in the backyard, which lights up the far coastline in glittering light. Alex is extremely quick to respond and attentive to any concerns. A great rental experience, which we would do again in a heartbeat. »
