« Overall the location was good with river access on a great stretch of the river. Be ready for 72 stairs down a very steep hill to get there so not very accessible for elderly and guests with physical limitations. House is old and outdated. Overall clean but listing is misleading. Hot tub was empty upon arrival and appeared very old and non operational. Found bees nests around entrances, some active. « We spent our Family Thanksgiving in the house. We had family members stay next door in Tree Top as well. Our family is spread from NC to MD and we decided to meet in the middle in Va. It was a great stay. »

« This house was perfect for our weekend needs. My daughter got married at the venue that shares this property. The house was big enough to hold all the bridesmaids and some of their husbands too. It was lovely having all the girls in one location to bond and enjoy time away together. It was also nice to have them so close to the venue and able to get ready in one central location. « It was a perfect weekend. The house is great for large groups, the bedrooms are all spaced out and there is so many bathrooms, that everyone had privacy. The decor is very eclectic and interesting, made me wonder about the travel stories that went with them. My favorite was hands down the master bathroom. A larger grill would be good as well as all the pieces to the checkers and chess sets. Convenient to wineries/breweries. Ducard is our favorite. We would definitely return! »

« Our family had a wonderful time at Cascade Falls lodge! The view from the house is amazing and the sunsets are truly spectacular! We had fun exploring the property, playing ping-pong, foosball, and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit area. The house was very clean and the property is beautifully landscaped. Anita was a very responsive host. We highly recommend Cascade Falls for a mountain vacation! »
