« We stayed at this lovely pond retreat the week of September 7. This cottage met all of our expectations. The whole neighborhood was very quiet and serene. We never saw more than two kayakers on the pond at the same time. And, the day we kayaked, we had the pond all to ourselves (except for the bald eagle harassing the geese). « We just ended a fantastic second stay at this classic vintage Maine camp! The hosts are beyond accommodating. When i expressed concern about the cold weather they added wool blankets for our comfort. Beautiful vintage cabin with everything needed for a complete Maine experience. We cooked lobsters and enjoyed them outside next to the pond. Had a couple of refreshing swims in Norton pond, a fire in the firepit and heard the loons and owls throughout our visit.
