« The property is welcoming and the hosts are very responsive. There are many “extras” included (detergent, make up wipes, dog treats, dog toys, and even a kennel) to make it feel like home. The location is about half way down the street which allowed us to walk and see the sunset over the water. « The rental was clean but it was a bit outdated. Sheets and towels were provided. It was fine for a group of guys duck hunting for the weekend. The layout was a bit strange and would be difficult for a family. It was "guy" friendly. »

« We stayed two nights out of the six I paid for. The second night the roaches were visible. I contacted the owner who agreed to give me a partial refund but I haven’t heard anything more about it. The house was very nice but my daughter is allergic to roaches. I spent the rest of my time off cleaning everything we had with us to ensure we weren’t taking roaches home with us. »

« We had a wonderful time staying at the Outer Banks. House was wonderful & kids loved the hot tub! Location was fantastic and owner provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and check out. Even went out of their way to have the cleaning crew look for a lost item for us after we left. »

« Wonderful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (one thing I would suggest is a new can opener the one there does not work well). Beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating (we locked the keys in the house and she responded to us right away). Would stay there again. Went to pocosin nature preserve to photograph the tundra swans. Drove to pea island for more photography. Excellent trip. »

« Do not book with this person. They never communicated with me about gaining entry into the property. I called multiple times. Eventually, I had to cancel and VRBO refunded me, leaving me and our group nearly stranded in OBX. »

« We had a wonderful stay! My kids had a blast fishing and crabbing everyday off the dock! A very nice community. We walked to the pool a couple times. And drove into town to go to the ocean a few times as well. Driveway was a little challenging to navigate but nothing that would keep me from staying again!! Awesome place with awesome sound/sunset views! »
