« We had a great time at this house and it's mostly remodeled. Kitchen is new. Main floor bath needs some updating but overall very nice property. Its located 2 blocks from the beach. There are no beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, bikes, etc), so be prepared to buy or rent if you need those for your stay.For management: the guests before us didnt take their trash out so we had to deal with the smell until our pick up date. Also, one of the pool drain covers is broken and you can cut yourself...

« The home was perfect. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were 17 of us and we had plenty of room to be together and to spread out. We especially loved the upstairs nook and window bench. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was good. Lots of hot water too. The pool and hottub were really nice. We enjoyed the golf cart, it made hauling all our chairs and bags to the beach easier - although the walk was only about 300 feet. Grill worked great too. ...

« The house was excellent and made our stay in the Outer Banks so comfortable! Very clean with a very well-stocked kitchen. All the beds were very comfortable and everyone appreciated the tv’s in the bedrooms. Easy and quick walk to beach access. Beach chairs, toys, and cooler were so helpful for our trips to the beach. « Sunshine Cottage is in a lovely and quiet residential neighborhood in Manteo. It's a perfect home base for exploring the Outer Banks. The cottage was spotless when we checked in, and the furnishings, provided linens and towels, and nicely equipped kitchen made our stay a breeze. I can't say enough good things about the comfortable beds — so welcome after a long day of activities. The cottage has great water pressure for those who enjoy an invigorating shower.
