« Deep in the woods at the top of the mountain be prepared to drive for 5 miles trough twists and turns. Arrive early because you may not find the lodge. « The room was cute and the pictures at booking made the room look promising. However, we realized the remodel must have happen a few years ago as there was some maintenance issues the room is in need of in the small bathroom. The air conditioner almost cooled the room as the summer heat came in thru door that wasn’t sealed all the way. Our relatives stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment and that was lovely! »

« I'll start with the positive. Beautiful spot and very close to shops and dining. About a 50 minute drive up to the main attractions in Squoia and 30 minutes from Visilia. Bed was very comfy and AC worked great! Now for the "could be better" part. The checkin process requires several additional steps through a seperate website from VRBO. « It was quiet. The shower was big and beautiful but a normal showered would have been better. It has a square rain type shower head and little jet nozzle at the end but there did not work well for rinsing off the soap or washing hair. It was just a small guest house and pics made it look like a whole house. No kitchen area and very small coffee pot. Overall a nice place to stay. »
