« My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. « Yurt was as expected and pictured on listing. The bathroom was a little further than expected (and slightly uphill) which could make it difficult for someone who needs to go in the middle of the night. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this unique experience. I wish I would've know there was a mini-fridge, a microwave and some other kitchen items in the unit - we would've planned a dinner around that. A great location for visiting Sequoia. »

« This was a great location for us to access Kings Canyon. There are other rental spaces (yurts) on the property but they are not close by and nothing is shared with them. We didn’t cook while there, but noticed decent cookware and spices and oil. Shower was tricky to figure out but was a nice hot shower. (Not for tall people though!). Bed was comfy. Excellent darkening shade in windows. »

« I'll start with the positive. Beautiful spot and very close to shops and dining. About a 50 minute drive up to the main attractions in Squoia and 30 minutes from Visilia. Bed was very comfy and AC worked great! Now for the "could be better" part. The checkin process requires several additional steps through a seperate website from VRBO.
