« Although the host was right next door we did feel we had our privacy. The cabin had many personal family photos which made us feel a little like we were invading their space. So as constructive criticism perhaps a little less personal items would make future renters feel more at home. All in all the hiking was fun and the property provided a restful and relaxing time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. »

« A fantastic little cottage on a very secluded little farm. The property owners, Jim and Tracy, were very friendly and accommodating. It was wonderful just sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. »

« I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. »

« My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place! Calm, cool and relaxing. Our hosts (Kevin and Amy) literally thought of EVERYTHING to make the stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. »

« It was a pleasant experience. Nice wooded area with your occasional friendly fauna walking by. The area had a nice public pool and lake to swim in. Plenty of restaurants in the area outside of complex. »

« Nice clean house, away from neighbors. Great to just relax and hang out. Ladies loved floating in the pool. Great outdoor deck space that can be used no matter the weather. »

« This spot was a great location - quiet but close enough to the lake and Promised Land park to easily enjoy activities. Everything was clean and well maintained, we didn't run into any issues during our stay. My daughter especially loved seeing all the deer and wild turkeys out the massive kitchen windows in the mornings! »

« Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs.
