« Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. Hosts Rhett and Kay couldn’t be more responsive to inquiries. Overall great experience and would recommend for a lovely getaway. Thank you!! ...

« We absolutely love the salty sailor beach house, upon arrival the place was very clean! Spacious and just made it feel like we walked in to our temporary home for the week! The stay was amazing! The yard was nice to relax in play football, the grill was clean everything was perfect ! »

« The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet but convenient to the attractions of Chincoteague and the refuge. We enjoyed staying there very much and would recommend.One suggestion: If possible, a recycling bin would be very useful. »

« Beautiful scene. Sunrise on the beach is perfect. Loved the low waves. Was easy to swim. The home was so cute! They were FULLY stocked. Anything that you think you may need and it’s there. The bed was squishy comfy. Even when we stayed inside, we had a gorgeous view from the sunroom. The neighbors were super friendly. The host was very responsive and extremely nice! Will definitely return to this little paradise! »

« My family and I stayed here a few weeks ago when we were dropping off my niece at St. Mary’s College and we had a wonderful time! The house was clean, had everything we needed, and we loved going by the water and having dinner at the Ruddy Duck (we went two nights in a row)! We’d definitely stay again :) »
