« The surrounding area of this cottage is beautiful, private and very quiet and the creek in the back is its best attribute. I have stayed at several vrbos over the years and this one felt more like a camping cottage on a camp ground than a vrbo home. We were surprised to find it was heated by an electric fireplace in the main room which was broken upon arrival. The hosts did a good job of getting it fixed the next day but it was a cold night. « We had no explicit directions about the location, couldnt get in, texted the property owner, she replied 3 hours later, 2 paper towels on the existing roll, toilet paper roll was nearly out, old k cup in the keurig, debris on the floor, the bed was awful. My husband and i sank into the middle of it. It made a retched squeking sound anytime i moved. I was not worth the pricing. The curtains were haphazardly hung. 2 total k-cups of coffee for 2 people. Not happy with this experience at all. »

« We loved this unique family friendly stay 30 min away from Penn State for our family with 5 kids! All the essentials were available at the church house (linens, towels, toiletries, paper products, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc). It was a very comfortable and homey. Megan was able to accommodate an early check-in for us and kind enough to leave some goodies for us upon arrival. She was always available to answer any questions we had. We loved the property and would stay here again. »

« We had a fantastic stay at the Lodge. The owners spared nothing when renovating and upgrading this home. The kids had an amazing time in the game room and theater, and they all tucked away in the basement together to sleep. The 8 adults had time to reconnect and unwind. We chose to cook both nights we were there, and that was where our only difficulty was. The knives were awfully dull to the point that we broke out a pocket knife to cut potatoes. It added to the laughter and camaraderie...
