« The House of Light was incredible and beautiful. Perfect view of Mt Shasta and Black Butte. We loved our stay here. Michael, host, is very responsive and friendly. Beautiful and calming energy. It was the perfect getaway. Additional programs that were offered by Michael were a perfect match for The House of Light. We came back fully recharged and with a more peaceful mindset. We are glad that we were guided to this place and will be glad to have another chance to stay. »

« It was nice, cozy and calm. Just be aware that you are not in Shasta downtown and there is nothing around, so being there without a car is not ideal. »

« It was a charming place to stay. We enjoyed looking at the water. They had everything you needed. The only thing missing was a coffee grinder for the whole beans. I don’t drink coffee but my husband does. lol The lift was perfect for our weekend. »

« The Carriage House was amazing! Better than anticipated. Super close to downtown, beautifully appointed, and priced really well! We only stayed one night while driving from California to northern Oregon but we wished we had planned our trip so we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. « This was the perfect fun experience for the night before our son's 10th birthday (who happens to be Year of the Horse). We all agreed it was a highlight of our roadtrip--close to Oregon Caves, everything was clean and well kept, refreshing freshwater swimming pond, close bathrooms, quiet property (we only saw the other guests outside very briefly), enjoyed our complimentary coffee under the stars on our private deck, nice added touch that there were games and books to borrow in the laundry room,...

« This is a beautiful two story space in a large home. Tastefully decorated, very private. Many lovely amenities, such as shampoo, body lotion, and nice soap. Even a bathtub! The host offered to go out and get me coffee, since coffee and tea is not provided. It was a lovely stay within walking distance of downtown. »

« We had a fantastic time during our stay! This was probably one of the cleanest vacation rental properties that I have stayed at.There were many thoughtful touches around the space. We loved getting to see the farm animals in the morning.It was a pleasant surprise to see some snacks and goodies for our pets when we arrived.
