There's a loud hum through the wall next to the bed from the air conditioning unit just outside the room, which could bother some people, but we thought it was like white noise. « I love this place. There are only 3 or 4 cabins, or rooms, to each structure. And, there are about 3 different building structures. Each row of cabins are wood construction. It reminds me of summer camp. Each section is distanced from the other ones, and they wind around the large property. There are many trees and it feels like you are in the woods. « The space is perfect for two adults and our dog. The space was clean, quiet, and close to Shasta Dam. Nice outdoor seating area and even had a fenced in yard for our pup. I’d recommend it! »

« We had 4 adults and two Labradors. The property is down a gravel path. There is a lovely flat area around the house that gave the dogs plenty of space to sniff and play. The house has great indoor and patio seating areas with a beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking. We enjoyed the trains going by. « We had a beautiful time at this amazing tree house. The views are beyond words, We enjoyed driving around the parks, visiting the crystal shops in Shasta and relaxing in the quietness of our surroundings. « This home was perfect for a multi family stay! The top floor has two bedrooms, a bath, kitchen, and laundry room. The bottom floor also has two bedrooms, with an additional kitchen area, another refrigerator and a bathroom as well. There is a large game room out back too! On an acre lot so there was plenty of parking. Not right on the lake, but very close! »

« We have been coming to Shasta Lake as a family for years, and honestly no place does it the way Lori and Dave do with their retreats! Anytime we need something, they go above and beyond to answer back timely and help sort things out. My husband was disappointed the World Cup soccer games were not streaming on the TV, and we came home from a day on the lake to a Roku box waiting on our doorstep courtesy of Lori and Dave to hook up and get him back in the action. I cannot say enough good things...
