« The cottage was nicely furnished, but was not cleaned very well. It had everything you could need. We got snow and that was great to see. Beds were comfy and fireplace was great! Location was great. »

« Entrance to the home was a bit scary because of the dropped off to the garage floor, especially at night when it was dark! The hot tub didn't look clean based on the look of the water. Other than that, everything else was fine. »

« We've stayed here for a few years and always love returning. The waterfront is perfect for launching our kayaks, it's an easy walk to restaurants, and we never get tired of the view! »

« Loved our stay! Small cottage, just what we were looking for. And the Truckee River is Right There!! Had my morning tea watching the sun rise over the trees and river every morning.Very clean and well cared for. The weather turned in us from summer warm to thunderstorms at night. We were warm & cozy listening to it. Great location - close to the river walk, rafting and Tahoe City. Yet not to close. Quiet peaceful location. »

« A beautiful little house in a great location. You are able to walk to downtown, lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars, even casinos and the Reno Aces. The house is well equipped and the host is amazing. We would definitely stay again! »

« This was our second stay, so I guess we must like it. Seems like they improved the shower since last time, so that was nice. TV was a little difficult to get up and running but we eventually managed. Only other (very minor) thing would be to flip the hinges on the refrigerator door so it opens on the other side. Everything else was just fine! »

« This little bungalow is clean, quiet and very comfortable. We happened to be there during the most amazing lightning storm which was great to view from the wide deck. The air conditioning was such a great amenity after having a lot of sun exposure. The property was a little off the beaten path, so I might not recommend staying here if you need to constantly do activities in downtown grass valley, yuba river, nevada city and need to go home frequently for naps, work, or outfit changes. Butler Place is in a great location, was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything anyone could need. Thank you so much for a great stay. »

« Excellent, modern, and comfortable stay !! This property is almost brand new, clean, centrally located close to the beach, skiing (diamond peak ski resort), with filtered lake views, south facing with plenty of sun during the day. It has a carport and even tesla charging port (even we didn’t need to use it). Kitchen is well equipped. Radiant floor heating was very comfortable. Great value, great location ! »
