« House was very inviting and comfortable. Weather was not our friend but it didn’t matter. Description of location and house is very accurate. The most important thing that can make or break any vacation for me is a comfortable bed. The bed did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this location if your looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. »

« River Front Retreat was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Well supplied kitchen, great views. Train does run by the house a couple of times a day, but was not bothersome. Highly recommend and would visit again. »

« This house was large enough for our group and provided a great place to stay for the duration of our time in Davenport. We arrived when it was dark and it was a little tricky to get into the house. There were no checkout instructions and that was a little confusing. If you are looking for a large house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, this is it. It was also a nice touch that they provided farm fresh eggs. If I had any flaw to point out it would be that the bedroom curtains do not close all the way and that would have been nice, but other than that, very nice place to stay! »
