Its location to the Colorado Bend State Park was very convenient. Since the location has reduced light pollution, the sky at night was beautiful with stars. The shower pressure was too high, and it was difficult to shower in a small bath. Also, the floor felt a little dirty. Other than that, it was a good stay. « This place was a perfect place for us and our 4 young children, ages 12-4. They played soccer in the yard and watched the sheep while we were there, and it was close to Colorado Bend State Park. It was fun to go to the park during the day then come relax in the evening and watch/listen to the sheep, make some dinner, and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We all slept great, too, thanks to the solitude/darkness/silence of the area and the beds being comfy enough! The stars were amazing. »

« The cabin is super cool with wonderful views. It’s well furnished and very clean the only problem and it’s a big one is the smell of the water. The hot water has a very strong sulfur smell. Now I have lived on well water with sulfur smell but this well next level like so bad it ran us out of the cabin and kept us up at night. It’s unfortunate too because I’d love to come back but just can’t handle the smell »

« The cabin is in a small, secluded neighborhood. We took our two dogs with us and it was perfect for walking them. The lake is within short walking distance (basically just across the street), with several kayaks and a paddle-board, life jackets, also a nice spot for fishing. The lake is beautiful. « This was perfect for us. Low key, on the Colorado river. 10 wins to Inks lake State park that has wonderful hiking and 15 mins from Longhorn caverns State park. A great relaxing weekend in nature. My so (11 had a blast at the game room and mini golf also! Highly recommend for a chill weekend with the fam. »
