« Great location. Clean, private, and very close to the Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. Convenient to Alamosa. Barb is a great host. »

« We stayed for three nights with our two kids, 4 and 6 y/o. It's a great house, beautifully decorated. I LOVE all of the plants. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, coffee grinder etc. The outdoor spaces are nice as well, although I'll admit that there were sooo many mosquitoes/bugs all day that we really couldn't use it. No AC, but it worked fine as long as we closed windows in the morning and opened them as soon as we could in the evening. Fans in the windows helped as well....

« My wife and I (and our little dog) had a wonderful time in Donna's place along the Gunnison River. In mid-May the river was quite full and fast. It is only 50 feet out the back door with chairs on the back deck or a swinging seat in the yard overlooking the river. As mentioned in her description we had deer walking thru the yard every day. There are places on either side but we never saw anyone or any other noises. Very quiet and peaceful. If you come in May know that at altitude (7700 ft) it...

« It wasn’t how we thought it would be, the shower was cold no hot shower through out my stay no a/c and when I called the lady kinda laughed and said we’ll open the window. To expensive for what was offered. Would not recommend it to anyone or be back. »

« This property is a sweet old farm house, comfortable and beautifully updated. Views are unbelievable…worth getting up early for sunrise on the mountains. »

« We loved our weekend at Fox Den, which has the best mountain views. We didn't see any wildlife, but they are said to have bobcat, deer, elk, turkey, and even a moose family in the area! We'll just have to go back again to see the animals ;) The house is amazing and the area/property is very quiet - just what we were looking for. It's ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway. We can't recommend this destination enough!!! »

« This property is a gem! From the spices, cookware, dishes, and towels in the kitchen, to the extra pillows, blankets, cots, and air mattresses for the bedrooms, to the boards and sleds for fun at the Dunes, everything was clean and well-stocked. It's a very private spot, so our family was able to just enjoy the getaway and focus on each other without the distraction of needing or worrying about the property.
