Damascus is a terrific little town and spending a few peaceful nights in nature is in keeping with all activities known for. Go to the Damascus Diner! Bike the Creeper trail and hit the Blue Ridge trails. Rest at this treehouse afterward and wake up to coffee on the porch. Perfect few days »

« Mary was an amazingly sweet and gracious host for known reasons. Very kind and humbling. The motifs for every room and area was wonderfully eclectic and so much fun. Lastly, no way you can beat the proximity to the Barter unless you sleep on the front steps of the theatre. Lovely stay. We love Abingdon! »

« This bright and clean little apartment was ideal for our Damascus stay; the kitchen is decently equipped, there is enough living room area for three or four people, and the beds are comfortable. Getting in and out is easy with the electronic door codes. (Note that it is second floor, up one flight of stairs, but stairs are wide and not steep and there are sturdy handrails on each side.)
