« We loved everything. We played pickleball, kayaked on the river, enjoyed all of our meals outside under the big oak trees and marveled at the stars by the firepit at night. I only have a few suggestions: the outside table and bar were dirty. The bar table had a huge pile of rocks on it and was covered in leaves and dust and there were no fire pit tools. But these were just minor things and did not cause us to lose any relaxing time. I think a small table top jenga game would be a nice touch...

« We loved the fact that it was isolated away from everyone and everything and all we could hear was nature! We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning and the deer walking around us at night. The night skies are amazing with all the stars shining. We caught some rain which was perfect to watch from the wrap around porch. Only thing I’ll add is the cabin needed a full size refrigerator because I took frozen foods and they only provided a small size fridge. »

« My family and I had the best time! The host was very informative, helpful and generous! The homes were clean, well maintained and provided us the freedom and security we hoped to have! The property is absolutely beautiful! There was 8 of us that stayed at the property and there was more than enough room for all of us and our 2 small dogs! My teenage boys loved the game room and it provided us with enough entertainment that we didn’t even have to leave the property if we didn’t want to! We will...

« Beautiful place and views. Relatively secluded. Access is via a rough gravel road, so be prepared to bring a 4WD vehicle and to be bounced around. Interior was clean and comfortable. Deck was stunning, but some of the outdoor chairs (stools) are showing a lot of weather damage/cracking, so we avoided sitting on a couple of them. The water supply consists of tanks filled by a water truck, so water conservation is required. Overall, my wife and I agreed that we would be happy to stay again. »

« This place was extremely hard to find in the pitch blackness that is a typical Texas evening, I did 3 u-turns on 55 because I was afraid to use someone’s driveway. That was really our only issue, The house itself was immaculate, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the amenities. Outdoor seating areas on front porch and off the master bedroom were just lovely for drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon.
