« The Fox Den met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable and had great indoor and outdoor living spaces. It was located in Thomas, within walking distance of the downtown area. Davis was just two miles South, with another fun shopping/dining area, and the local Shop & Save. Our plans involved hiking the state high peaks of MD and WV, and The Fox Den was very convenient. « Property was clean and well maintained. Directions for check-in and out were very clear and received in a timely manner. Area was nicely located for access to many outdoor activities and restaurants. Only complaint was that some of the items that were supposed to be stocked, like coffee and tissues, were not. There was a grocery store close by where we were able to pick up these items. Thanks for a great stay. »

« we are working on a plce we bought near by. Our workers stayed here and we only came over for visits. The place is so cute, very clean and we enjoyed the porch area after working on our place. Very relaxing. »

« Fantastic home base for a family exploring Davis and surrounding area! The location was great, right in the cute small town of Davis, with easy parking, and our location in the back meant it was quiet with plenty of sunshine on the back porch and backyard. Great to have 3 bathrooms for a busy family, and we also appreciated the full-stocked kitchen. Easy hikes and bike rides right out the front door and then great food and drinks are right there, too. Can't wait to return, thank you! »

« The house is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Unfortunately, there were daddy long legs in the basement and the kids refused to sleep there. The only thing I would change is to put rubber mats in the showers. I am slightly disabled and it was slipery. Overall, it was great and I would recommend it to everyone! »

« Another family getaway up the mountain for Memorial weekend 2025. The cabin was well appointed and located just the right distance away from the activities our family enjoys most. Hot tub has an amazing view of sunset. Owner very responsive. No complaints or concerns; thanks for a great visit! »

« This was a well equipped and comfortable house in a convenient and beautiful location. We enjoyed Charlie and Red and feeding them apples. Our whole time was very enjoyable and we were able to do everything that we wanted to in the area. We want to send our thanks to the owners of this guest house for allowing us to stay here.
