« What a great home! We stayed for a week. There was about 6 to 8 inches of snow when we arrived. The road was plowed, covered with a dusting, but had no issue getting to the house. The owners were very accommodating and very helpful. The house is fully stocked and furnished (dishes, pots, pans, towels, silverware, blankets, pillows, etc.) The property was amazing! Very serene and peaceful. You could hear the creek nearby. We ventured all over the property. Very close to Blackwater Falls state...

« This was our second time to visit and had a blast! Was hoping for a white Christmas but the weather did not cooperate! Our older kids came to visit for a couple of days and there was plenty for everyone to do on-site. The hot tub was a great hit as well! Well anointed kitchen with plenty of blankets and pillows on those chilly nights. The creek flowed higher this time of year which was great to listen to out by the firepit! If you want peace and quiet - this is the place to go! »

The house itself is beautiful, spacious and comfortable.We were there during a major storm that froze up a good portion of the US this January, the roads and the driveway were plowed twice during the storm but we still needed do to a lot of digging and had to use chains on our 4WD to get out of the driveway and the resort roads, with all the VERY crusty ice everywhere.
