« My wife really liked the rustic feel of the place and was impressed with how clean it was at the same time. For me, it felt like a retirement property that I’d had for years, it was very welcoming. « I absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cozy cottage! The host was so sweet and thoughtful. She even left a gift basket of goodies for us! Everything was clean, and she has thought of everything you may need during your stay; she even had an extra toothbrush, which I was so grateful for as I realized late at night that I had forgotten mine. « You can tell Jill really loves this place and it is a cozy little retreat. Be warned there is no internet or cable. There are some tv channels but many don't come in well. There is cell service. « My friends and I thought this home was so cute. It was within walking distance of a few places in St. Genevieve. It was very clean and large enough for the four of us. We would definitely stay here again. »

« We were an extended family (infants to adults) getting together for a long weekend. The house is exactly as described and as the pictures show. The absolute best VRBO home we have ever stayed in! The house includes everything you may ever need and would have to go buy at other rentals. The space was ample and we were all able to sleep comfortably in a bed or a rollaway bed provided. There are plenty of towels for the pool and hot tub. We spent so much time outside in the back yard...

« My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! »

« This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries. »
