« When we arrived, we checked in and our room was not clean, though it had been released for check in. The front desk staff was unhelpful, did not have any sense of urgency or empathy for the situation. We learned it was a much larger issue that just our unit, with more than 20 units that needed cleaned, and several families waiting in the lobby for access to their rooms. After over an hour waiting for housekeeping, or even a timeline for remedy, we opted to find lodging elsewhere. I did receive...

« "We had a wonderful time during our stay! The week we visited was incredibly hot, and the indoor pool was a perfect place to cool off. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a family stay, and the air conditioning made the heat much more bearable. Thomas was incredibly responsive throughout the booking process, helping us secure the unit with ease—even on short notice. Highly recommend!" »

« Room was not as advertised suppose to have one king bed. Other bedroom was suppose to have 2 twin beds one sleep sofa. That room had a queen bed. Sleep sofa down stairs. With young children that wasn't going to work. Had to go out and buy a air mattress. Unit was nice but service was poor with below grade bathroom tissue and paper towels. »

« I found the unit I rented to be very comfortable and in excellent condition. Infortunately Colonial Williamsburg has really diminished it's commitment to being a "living" museum experience. We were looking forward to a Colonial Christmas but we found little to create the feeling we had been promised by the advertisements. »
