« We had a two night stay here, and it was pretty good for the price. The pictures are a bit deceiving, as it does not show the outside of the property. You are essentially in the downstairs of a separate building from the main house on property. If you are a light sleeper, the upstairs flooring is very squeaky and can be a nuisance. The faucets you need to be careful with too, as they will leak all over the bathroom counter on a low flow setting. We also killed about five very large spiders...

« This place was incredible! Tons of space, bedding was amazing, mattresses were super comfortable and the fridge and sink were extremely spacious. The kitchen was stocked with cutlery, plates, pots/pans, etc. They had thought through everything! I would highly recommend this place and would totally stay here again! Only thing to note is that the wifi can be a bit choppy but I spoke about this with the host/manager and recommended a wifi mesh extender! Overall, awesome place to stay and great...

« Our family loved our stay at this cozy and clean retreat. The location is lovely and quiet, the house is decorated with attention to detail and we all loved the forest animal cabin theme. We had so much fun using the hot tub, making s’mores, and hiking in Mt Rainier. The house was organized, well stocked for our needs and clean. We appreciated all of the effort our hosts made in making the visit special. We would definitely recommend! »

The kind we dreamt of in boarding school: light, airy, tons of windows, a view, high ceilings, a large kitchen equipped with EVERYTHING, luxurious furniture, cozy bedrooms, elegant bathrooms, a hot tub, snacks, privacy, quiet … convenient to downtown Gig Harbor … Marcia’s retreat is really perfection and we would love to stay again someday.
