« A small 1 level hotel which is family run and you could definitely tell the difference. What a wonderful visit. First, I called and spoke with Steve (owner) and advised that we would be late checking in. He advised that was not a problem as I would get an email with room number and code to access the room, ice house and pantry. « I was bamboozled with the photos of the room, it didn't look like the photos, it was run down first of all and we had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in and when someone did come to the desk he was half asleep and asked for our identification then it took him 15 minutes to get the repeated speech out of his mouth about rules and regulations of that badly needed a remodel and renovations immediately dump of a motel, when we got to the room OMG! « This place was probably the worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life. First of all my check in was at 3. I got there at 2:45 and they said my room wouldn't probably be done until after 4 which ruined my work route and plans for morgan wallen concert entry time. They wouldn't even allow me to use a public rest room so I had to go offsite to use one even though I should have been able to use my own at 3. The place was disgusting. I have pictures. You get what you pay for. »

« This place was a total sleaze bag motel! It’s right off the freeway looks run down and the parking lot was empty except for the two women sitting in a black car with blacked out windows. The attendant wasn’t even in the office came running over and got us in our room. The women in the black car tracking us the entire time. We didn’t stay long as we were headed out to a concert. Got a call from the attendant saying she needed to get my credit card and then a call back saying she found it and it...

« The property is beautiful and in a great location to walk to all of Highlands. Our room was very nice and we loved our fireplace. We didn't get to use the amenities due to COVID restrictions/NC Curfew but will stay here again and can't wait to enjoy them then! »
