« We stumbled upon this property after searching for somewhere fun to go for a couple of days during our kids spring break. This property didn’t disappoint! The game room and hot tub were a huge hit. Also, we ventured into WV for a day trip and then came back for a yummy dinner and the kids played pool at the Burn Barrel. The fact that all linens were included, plus we were able to bring our dogs were a major plus!! »

« Cute cabin. Views as promised. Comfy beds. Great kitchen. Everything as promised. Wish there was more space to walk the dogs. »

« Everything was nice. Great view from the deck. A little disappointed the hot tub didnt work. Hopefully they will get it fixed quickly. »

« We loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and cozy and looked just like the photos. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. There is a nice yard and the road is quiet so our dog was off leash most of the week with no issues. The neighbors were so nice, multiple people stopped to talk to us when we were hanging out on the front porch. We didn’t hear back from the owner for about a week when we initially reached out (before the trip) but communication was quick and thorough every time after that....

« Beautiful, cozy, and quiet getaway for our 6th anniversary vacation! »

« The Luxury Moose Retreat was absolutely amazing!! I have stayed at several rental properties in Basye, VA over the years, but this one was outstanding. It's less than 1 mile from Bryce Resort. Drive way large enough for 6-8 cars. The kitchen is spacious, more than enough counter space, high quality utensils, pots, pans, gas stove, there's even a wine fridge! The bedrooms are spacious, bright, clean, beautiful. There was not a single thing during our stay that we were inconvenienced...

« We recently stayed at this property and had mixed feelings about the experience. The location was great and check-in was very easy. The price point was also more affordable compared to similar listings in the area, which we appreciated.That said, the cleanliness of the unit left a lot to be desired. While I understand the unit is older and not recently renovated, some of the issues went beyond just being dated. It seems like the unit would benefit from a super deep clean and/or some updates to...

« All in all we had a great stay! Property was generally as pictured and described. Very comfortable beds, kid and pet friendly. We drove in through a snow storm but made it safe with an AWD vehicle and assistance from a plow truck that happened to be in the neighborhood. House is at bottom of a pretty steep incline and is on stilts on the side of the mountain. More pictures would be helpful to renters. »

« This was a cute little cabin in the woods, and, for the most part, suited our needs well. One item to mention....the listing says that the cabin has air conditioning. It does, except the 2 downstairs bedrooms do not, so they got quite hot in the middle of July. It was a nice stay apart from that. Thanks! »

« We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. »
